A decade had passed, ot is now 2020 but 'I Hear Your Voice' will always be my favorite K-Drama. I experienced mixed emotions from the time I'm watching this and until now that I'm rewatching it. This drama is not your ordinary drama, it is not the the kind of drama that will just give you cute romance. However, it will open your eyes to the unsettling reality about the world. The truth behind every story of crime and why they are committed. It will give you compassion for people and finally hope for restorative justice. In addition, It conveys message from the heart. The cast are remarkably talented in portraying their roles, it is the only K-Drama that made me pity the villain. The only drama that gave me those kind of confusion, whether I will side to the villain or hold on to the protagonists. This drama does not only inspire but also encourage me to the path I'm about to take now. ❤️
i never regretted watching this drama which i should have watched 2 years ago. after watching so many Korean dramas, i can definitely say that this is the best Korean drama ever!!! i just can't get enough of it~ >

Jang Hye Sung is such a well written female lead. And what doesn't disappoint me is the fact that almost every character is developed well, everyone's performance was spectacular - like it doesn't just revolve around the two main leads. The cases doesn't feel like fillers because the writer cleverly uses them as a link to the main plot. Prosecutor Seo's story got me teary eyed as well.
Usually, kdramas have the first half better than the second half, and that is kind of annoying. But this was different. This became more interesting in the last episodes, as the characters' feelings deepened. Every single story left me with a big heartache and empty feeling in my soul. It's sincerely a masterpiece 💫
Honestly, after watching this drama i've become really picky and can't find another that can beat it, especially in regards to unique storyline and characters. As close to perfect starting with the attorney plot, troubled characters (even the villain was interesting to me), of course the romance, and all the way through to the OST. Every episode had me at the edge of my seat (ooh all those all-nighters watching as many eps as possible ;) Top notch, definitely one of my fave drama's of all time (still having withdrawals)

Never been addicted to Korean Drama until I watched I Hear Your Voice. its been 3weeks now and i keep on repeating every single episode... couldnt move on! this drama needs a Season 2.... Even the OSTs are addicting.. i love the actors, they perfectly create a great chemistry... Soo Ha's smile is super cute and adorable, while Hye Sung's thoughfulness will turn you upsidedown...
I love almost everything about IHYV..the actors did great, there's an awesome chemistry between Lee Bo Young and Lee Jong Suk that I couldnt get enough, on and off cam..though Bo Young is a decade older... And the fact that it's a thriller made me love it even more..
Micah Enriquez well thats great and all but that doesnt help me give you recommendations lol :p I currently like reply 1997 more than IHYV but that's just me. It has good chemistry between the leads. It is mostly a comedy though. If you want action/thrillers I would recommend Iris, City Hunter, and heartless city. Or you could watch Korean movies. They have a lot of good thrillers like Old Boy and I Saw the Devil. Maybe you don't like pure romance which is why you haven't liked many kdramas besides IHYV. If that's the case, the action ones might suit you.
Lee Jong Suk never fail me... I love all of his kdrama including this. Although I watch it in 2020 but still feel relevant to these days. I love how they resolve their problem together and the fact that they have age difference bring odd but very sweet romance. Love them being together at the end with less worried on the future. Love wins at the end❤️❤️

Hi. Just finished watching this drama. I have to leave a review somewhere so I can move on. a bit long review. Cast: I love how this drama was so realistic, except from Soo Ha's ability. The cast have realistic characteristics. The best example would be Hye Sung. She have annoying traits but also good ones that was even often overlooked. Her character remained static from the end, showing that people arent only divided into the bad and good ones. Though she's a main character, she was given annoying but realistic traits, and even reacted on how most of the people would react. I love how each character was well developed and their traits were well portrayed. The summary of their traits were given by Park Soo Ha when he was being interviewd for Police Academy. This drama captivates me bc of its life lessons: IHYV is also another drama with it's title having a double meaning just like Pinocchio. If Pinocchio is about the impact of our words, and impact of twisting words and lies, IHYV also have a double meaning. First would be the lead male's ability of hearing someone's thoughts by looking at their eyes. It's second meaning would be about listening to one's voice. It shows how listening to a person is important. It could help one and even change them. There would also be circumstances that couldve been avoided if only there was someone who was willing to listen. -At one point, Attorney Cha defended a deaf lady. Attorney Cha expressed how the lady was pushed to do something unlawful because no one would try to listen to her. No one was willing to listen. The main antagonist, Min Joon Guk, was also heard at the end. He was able to tell his story because he found someone who would listen to him, which was also Attorney Cha. Attorney Cha was also the one who made others realise the difference between Park Soo Ha and Min Joon Guk. When Min was trying to make Park a murderer, Park was able to stop himself ftom falling into Min's trap. He was able to stop himself from killing Min. Attorney Cha realised how Park Soo Ha was able to control his anger. Park have someone while Min have no one. If there was just someone who listen to Min, and someone who would knock him to his senses, someone who supported him and was there for him to remind him and stop him, maybe he wouldnt choose to go down that road. 2. One of the main lesson was also about not living with the 'eye for an eye, tooth for a tooth' rule. It wouldnt make you any different from the one you despise. "If you live like that, everyone would go blind." 3. The drama also highlighted the importance of accepting your fault. It takes a lot of courage and humility to admit your fault, especially when you have to admit it to the person that you dont like. But you have to do the right thing, or it will give you a lifelong burden in your heart.
This is the most atrractive drama that i've ever watched, im never interested at korean film before, i used to hate it actually but when i watched that film, haaa, i have nothing to say, i just finished watching the film in a day and still imagined all of the scenes' film. Feeling that many butterflies in my stomach. How good!!
Up to this day this drama is still so beautiful. Production, plot, and characters are amazing. Still one of my favorites despite all the other dramas released years after this aired

They just showed that age does not matter if you really fight for it and keeping promises no matter what it takes! Be true to your words. A beautiful drama to keep on watching over and over again! IDK y imo, his chemistry with Lee BoYoung is so strong and real compared to ALL his co-stars; i watched School 2013, Dr. Stranger, Pinacchio, W n i ever shipped he n his co-star during the drama airing n hot but the feels disappeared as time passed by. But, these two...,oh my god! I cant believe the feels still there even i knew lee bo young is married with jisung n their ages different. LBY & Jisung are such a great real life married couple couldnt b deny anymore~ but for me too, on screen couple, Lee Bo Young & Lee Jong Suk as well as Jisung & Hwang Jung Eum are the best pairing ever! This is the most atrractive drama that i've ever watched, im never interested at korean film before, i used to hate it actually but when i watched that film, haaa, i have nothing to say, i just finished watching the film in a day and still imagined all of the scenes' film. Feeling that many butterflies in my stomach. How good!!
Up to this day this drama is still so beautiful. Production, plot, and characters are amazing. Still one of my favorites despite all the other dramas released years after this aired

They just showed that age does not matter if you really fight for it and keeping promises no matter what it takes! Be true to your words. A beautiful drama to keep on watching over and over again! Best Korean Drama with best storyline comes with a those great actors!

I watched IHYV more than ten times and never get enough of it. IDK y imo, his chemistry with Lee BoYoung is so strong and real compared to ALL his co-stars; i watched School 2013, Dr. Stranger, Pinacchio, W n i ever shipped he n his co-star during the drama airing n hot but the feels disappeared as time passed by. But, these two...,oh my god! I cant believe the feels still there even i knew lee bo young is married with jisung n their ages different. LBY & Jisung are such a great real life married couple couldnt b deny anymore~ but for me too, on screen couple, Lee Bo Young & Lee Jong Suk as well as Jisung & Hwang Jung Eum are the best pairing ever! I demand for LBY & LJS reunion in a drama pleaseeee
