Love this song so much... has to be one of the few that got me through my darkest moments. I thank God for this wonderful man of God... and for His son, who brought me from the bondage of doubt and disinformation... to trust and truth. I still just don't understand why God would allow humans the task of interpreting the Word. There could be nothing more important than to reveal His plan to us, so why does He choose to stay hidden and let us guess when it would be so easy to reveal Himself to us, then I wouldn't have to believe some greedy religious leader with ulterior motives. Why, when within the blink of an eye He created the universe, can He not show me the way HIMSELF?? It's perfectly reasonable to ask. It'd take 1 SEC
Doesn't work that way friend. You must realize when Adam sinned, he wrought the moral ruin of the human race. Men chose knowledge above God, THE SOURCE OF ALL KNOWLEDGE! I recently heard a "preacher" boast in man's quest for knowledge and how natural it was. FOOLISH, knowledge without God leads to an eternity w/o God! So God if I can use this word chose to "painstakingly" (not on His behalf but ours) has reworked Himself back into the human sphere (which He created) beginning with the call of father Abram/Abraham and His descendants commonly called Israel. You say if God created the universe in the blink of an eye, why not Himself to us who sinned? Where is the lesson for the human race in that? Do we reward our children a new car when they crashed the pre-own we bought them?
