I'm a former truck driver and we used G.O.A.L. Get Out And Look. I also marked the spot I wanted my tires to go but used a glove that was easier to see from the cab. We love your videos and are anxious to start our own life on the road. My wife retires in September so we're RV shopping right now. Your recent video on finding the perfect RV was very helpful so thank you. Give the kids a hug for us and stay safe.

I am pretty much house bound here in Charlotte N.C. for health reasons, and your vlogs take me away to places I have been and seen in my lifetime. I was a resident of California for 20 years. Was born in Arizona. Lived in New England most of my youth. I did travel with a camper back in 1980 across country twice that year. Thank you for the trips back in time for me.

This was awesome! Hubby & I love wine. We saw several of these nice RV parks when we visited our son in Oregon. They just weren't in the places we needed to stop. Had 5 days to & from Atlanta and had to get our 6-8 hrs of driving in each day. Now that he has retired, we are looking forward to visiting a few wineries. We did visit some of the olive country going back home. We love olives too!

Not sure if you see comments from old videos, but I live in Paso Robles and loved re watching this video. I watched it 6 years ago and it was very cool seeing you guys in my hometown. I have really enjoyed following your channel over the years seeing your kids grow up. Hit us up if you ever make it back this way.

Fantastic video! We just got back a couple of weeks ago from a 3 week trip to Yellowstone (hit 15 national parks and monuments!) and after watching this video I soooo want to head out to the wine country in California. Safe travels

Thanks Cathy. He's come and gone by now! :) They were on the road for about a month. We met-up with them in SF and they moved on in the Redwoods. Next week will be Monterey and then SF. Things are going to start getting very pretty!

There is NO way to describe accurately how happy that shot of the kids in the backseat made me. I was giggling hysterically. The feet on the back of the seat sealed the deal. I was a goner, on the floor, laughing. I have 4 kids. This is my life in a snow globe. Thank you for that.

Oh good. Seeming fast is a good sign. There is 6 min of deleted scenes of the stuff that didn't fit into the story. It's nice to have a place for the other footage... or some of the funny footage that I don't want to hear about in the comments :)

This video (and the last) has been great since its home for me. Wine Country RV is 2 miles from home and I even did a long term stay there when they first opened in the early 2000s. At 14:05, That girl is the manager and an amazing old friend, so fun to see this all. And I didn't find it until I was far into watching your series. It's an amazing series and you are making me a wish list and hopes for one day. I had goals of going full time in retirement, now I want to do it sooner with the kids. Have fun in your adventures.

Thanks for taking us along your travels! My wife and I enjoy watching all your vlogs. You've said in other vlogs that you don't typically make reservations, so you're just super lucky when calling ahead...? Splain.. Please... Thanks again !
It really hasn't been that hard. The more particular someone is... the harder no reservations are. We're willing to call 2-3 places a day or two before, but it's mostly a problem on Fri/Sat night, so we might plan ahead if we're in a popular location over the weekend. Right now we're at another Harvest Host near Cannon Beach. The RV park tomorrow was full, so we're going to stay there, but dry camp. This works much better than losing money on deposits when you're running early or late.

Howdy - going thru your old videos and just saw this one & the Pismo episode. 1) For years we would spend a week at Pismo Coast Village RV resort - our favorite place to camp. Just so you know, it is not easy to get in there. Summers are impossible. 2) In Paso Robles, I can’t believe you did not get cookies from the Brown Butter Cookie Company (you walked right by there) - they are the best! I make sure I visit their Cayugos location when in Pismo. Anyhow, great videos - I love watching your wonderful family.

Hey Gidget! I know the name now. Cool. Yeah, she loves her hat :) I'l call it the "Mothers Day Hat" from now on and it will grow in sentimental-ness , not really, but I'll do it anyway.
I have to write this one down. A must to do if going to California. I also have to replay the 5 apps you must have video. I didn't think you could top season 2 but season 3 is starting pretty cool. Mexico is a must but Northern California is starting to look pretty cool as well. Looking forward to next Saturday and the new video. Love it Guy's

Y'all should try out the FlightLinz Bootleg Canyon in Las Vegas. Crazy fun adrenaline rush. 😬 we did it the year we got married with a great bunch of friends. Get ready for some climbing lol....love watching you guys. I do a lot of camping but with horses. I live outside of Austin Tx. Took a trip to Colorado National Forest with the horses. It was awesome! I'm catching up on y'all's videos 👍🏻

thanks guys, for some more fun watching...you all are great. Wife and I will leave NY in 2 weeks for the Oregon Coast...forever! Everything we own is just about packed in the class A, and we are moving to Waldport as our youngest son starts college in Bend. STOKED for our new adventure lifestyle as the coach is now our home for at least a year. hope to meet up some day!

Hi guys! We love your channel and really enjoy your videos - with one exception. I spent 30 years in emergency services and have watched an evolution in how passengers walk away from car accidents because of the improved technology. But technology only works when it's used properly. We've seen multiple examples in your videos of the kids ( and Trish) wearing the shoulder belt incorrectly and it is DANGEROUS! The seat belt must be over the shoulders for it to work properly! And we have personal experience with a classmate who died in a car wreck when she got ejected because she had the shoulder belt tucked under her arm in not in the proper position! Take care and keep safe! Thanks (p.s., sorry about Eureka, CA. It's a freakshow).

Caleb is a Marc Minnie Me, same personality so funny. Trish rockin the 1-900 voice, I used to record voice talent and they where paid better than I was. Awesome locations, every time I go to Cali there is an earth quake so I stopped going there. You have awesome hard working kids!

Omg, loved the zip line and views!! So cool!! We have a place called The Wilds, Cumberland, Ohio that has a zip line through the animals!! Our family wants to do that and have heard it is FANTASTIC!!! If you every come back to Ohio come check it out! 😀 Very cool that Trish's dad is rving too! Or at least 2 years ago.

This just looked like so much fun. I've done a ton of camping and seeing such amazing places, but that was a tent or if really splurging a pickup camper. Living in the foothills of Colorado and northwest Montana, the scenery is just fantastic. You guys are however showing me a side of things I haven't seen before, and you are having so much darn fun. Someday I'll get this rv thing figured out and join in the fun. Until then I have my beloved Montana.

I'm guessing your headed to Seattle, plan a little time to go out to Port Townsend. it was to be the portt city instead of Seattle but the railroad went to the right instead of left. quite the history of the tunnels. Woah, did you install a new camera in the truck? Cuz you guys are looking so clear and smooth it's surreal. Ok, I HAVE to know what camera you are using, cuz I don't see it listed here, like I typically see a list of all your gear (TH-cam always seems so random to me).

Trish I suffer from allergies too., been on shots for 4 years. Have you tried essential oils? My friend gave me Breathe from DoTerra and I love it. It really helps me. Either diffuse it or I have a necklace that I wear with the EO love it. If really bad I apply right under my nose within minutes I am all clear
