There was this kind guy, he was really nice, and he gave us (me and my companions) bread with those green things and they were a bit spicy (and I dislike spicy) and had an odd taste but I couldn't refuse and took at least 5 minutes to eat it.

They didn't mention the temperature? It's really hot in dubai if you go to June-August since that's summer, should go around December-February since that's winter. And while it doesn't snow, it will be just chill compared to the scorching hot summer.
