I met you last year on Bangla Rd. I thought you were amazing-you keep getting better and having a band now is an awesome addition. It is an important skill to learn how to direct each person in a group to get the best sound. Would love to see you have other people singing like your dad did. The best bands have amazing harmonies. I have watched many of your videos. I am subscribed and notifications.
I am a doctor in Hawaii and had a 4 person rock/island music band playing all over the island of Kauai every week for 8 years. I had a vocal coach for 4 years (the one who trained PINK). I hope you don’t mind some recommendations. You are an amazing performer who could become even much more famous. You have very high musical, social and performance intelligence. I thought you said you are writing songs now. Keep writing. The best talent can write beautiful music that fits their personality
Consider these suggestions:
1. PROTECT your vocal cords! That is why I had over 200 voice lessons. I was hurting my vocal cords. It is easy to hurt them. The best performers often gets in trouble with damaging their vocal cords. If you have not worked with an expert, Consider having an expert review how to protect your vocal cords. If you damage your cords with poor use of your vocal cords, your voice may not come back to normal. I noticed in one video you were singing with a faculty who clearly was an expert vocalist. Aside from asking for expert assessment, these next suggests are things I learned from Pink’s voice coach
2. Always warm up properly before you perform. You can learn good warm ups on you tube. Look for a professional vocal coach video who teaches proper warm ups
3. Rest your voice-when performing, take at least a 10 minute break (no talking or whispering) after every 45 to 60 minutes of singing. Never shout. You seem to do long performances. If you wake up in the morning and your voice is hoarse or different, that is a concern your singing technique needs improvement or that you are singing too much.
4. Sing in your comfortable vocal range. An expert can tell you what it is. Learn to use falsetto more to avoid straining to get to higher notes
5. Shift to a comfortable octave to avoid pushing to use notes that are hard to reach. I saw you do this in 2 different songs. Very good. Some singers may even change a few song notes totally to make it easier especially during long performances. If you do it right, you will make the song sound like your own version. People will like it and so will your vocal cords.
6. Drink plenty of water so your cords don’t dry out. You do it sometimes but probably better if you drink some between every song
7. Reduce your volume of your voice and increase the volume of the mic! My coach kept saying the most beautiful sounds are made at lower volumes. You seem aware of this
8. Strongly consider using 2 (not one) EAR BUDS. It will help you have better pitch when there is a lot of noise around you. Your pitch is usually perfect but it will get better with buds. Do not turn them up too loud. Many people pull one bud out during a performance but this will damage one ear. Use the sound board to help you hear what you need to hear. Adjust what you hear through the sound board so you can keep both buds in your ears. It may take some getting used to, but when adjusted right, you will stop singing louder than you need to. I have heard you sing softly and it is gorgeous and gives an audience goosebumps!
9. Take a night off and use your voice as little as possible. Whispering does not let your cords rest or heal.
10. Always use the best singing technique-use your diaphragm, not your neck, to produce sound. Your neck muscles must stay relaxed and flexible. It seems you are using your diaphragm because the vein in the side of your neck bulges when you sing from your diaphragm. I often can see that vein in your videos
I have noticed you have a beautiful RASP and VIBRATO. They are important ways of adding expression to your music. You already express your music far better than most performers. Just be aware that frequent use of rasp and vibrato are ways to add to the expression and the way you tell the story of each song. Listen to Janice Joplin if you want to see how she made her music world famous with her raspy singing.
Since I think you will become an international star doing concerts everywhere, please stay the sweet and humble person you are. Many famous performers make big mistakes like drugs and alcohol to manage the stress of being very famous. I hope you take good care of yourself and take time to enjoy your life and the people you love.
I hope I get to Phuket to hear you again soon. I better hurry before you start touring everywhere.

Szerintem zseniális improvizáció volt Fiat részéről, amikor egyszercsak beugrott a közönség közé. Én nagyon szeretem ezen a felvételen azt is, hogy nagyon jól hallatszik, ahogy Paopao rendíthetetlenül pengeti basszusgitárját a szakadó esőben. Ezt azért is írom, mert szerintem Paopaot túl ritkán méltatják.
