I think a turbine is so much better than an engine because the only moving parts are the bearings. You mentioned 'sealed' bearings which I never thought about. I subscribed.
Wow and finally steam power...thank you so much for all tour work...i think this turbine is a game changer for human society....i can only imagine if this type of turbines would run at 15 bars
Thanks for the comment. Need a pretty big steam boiler to get up that much steam. If there was a bigger burner on this little stove, I'm sure I could keep the pressure up higher. The way it is now, I have just a tiny nozzle opening, so I doesn't need a whole lot of steam.
So what if ya put a copper loop under it with magnets above the loop eddy currents would heat to boiling quickly a pot of water put in a closed loop system you could get a self running device ( once you get up to steam pressure ). Good job
i see it can use a clutch either centrifugal or cable operated to a pulley to get work from it and brake the speed...also it could use that for start up or use a start up steam jet to the outer of the disc for start up torque ...I've read a standard type automotive type alternator generator with built in 12 volt charge volrage and over charge protection for each 12 v...seems practical to drive the hub the maybe 6000 rpm to it's output curve band , they state about 4HP drain on the car or vehicles motor so i figure the joules of over 4hp per alternator seems practical maybe....i am refering to heat to steam to electric output or pulley drive ....EDIT: thankyou very much for sharing the vid i'll check out the build vid more the turbine i have ideas similar ...awesome to see it and the low pressure efficiency too , wow!
great simple build set up. I built a couple of scrap component steam engines already running of a flash steam generator system instead of a boiler which produces enough to run the engine but has to be balanced cold water input to steam output for maximum pressure. I've been wanting to experiment with a steam turbine setup for a while now instead of a piston engine. Thanks for sharing this, which could really be useful if built to better tolerances etc.
I guess every engine converting heat energy to linear motion to rotary motion is just a waste of time. Cars will never really make a different in the world.

Thanks for subscribing! I like the 'one moving part' thing too.
You reminded me of Doc in Back to the Future when he's trapped in old west. On a more serious note: great effort.
Thanks for BOTH compliments! 😁
the hand brake = RIP headphone users 😂🤣🤣otherwise pretty neat.
😁

Wow amazing! Thank you for sharing!!!
Thanks for watching and commenting.
quelle est l'autonomie en minutes avec la cuve ?
I'd love to see some power output figures for this.
Use solar power to compress the air in tank and use it to run generator using 1: 100 gearbox 👍👍👍
What will be the point of that? An alternative will be to use solar panels to heat up some sand that will store thermal energy.
I like your idea of using a pressure canner!
Thanks! Sometimes you can find some pretty good deals at garage sale!
Not sure why it's spinning?

Now skip fast to cryophorus and Tesla's (the and only, Nikola) turbine. Suggesting Charlie Solis channel. Thanks for sharing!
nect step add generator

My thought was to attach magnets to the outer rim of the turbine, so the magnetic fields would pass through coils of wire the generate electricity.

I understand steam doesn’t like 90* angles.
Oh; why is that?
I think because of pressure. Like cars going 65 mph on a freeway having to make a right-angle turn.
His wife like 😂what the hell you done to my kitchen 😂😂😂😂
it can barely turn itself, but not drive anything!
Cant the boiler explode
Not with the low pressures I'm using. A pressure canner, like this one, can take quite a bit of pressure.
It's called a pressure canner for a reason.
using one form of energy to create another form of energy is a negative net energy.
I guess every engine converting heat energy to linear motion to rotary motion is just a waste of time. Cars will never really make a different in the world.
That's how electricity works, genius. Every energy you use is created by any source of energy. Gas, Sun, Coal, etc?
