Thanks for the great video... For the lens foot screws, take them out one at a time and apply Loctite or Thread-Lock to the threads, which will prevent them from coming loose.
I think the reason why telephoto lenses are made white is for heat to have minimal effect on it. because when heated, metal expands which could damage the build, and black objects absorb the most heat, and white the least.
From what I remember, Canon started this trend and that was their reasoning. But it seems more of a marketing gimmick as it was more ‘pro’. Either way, i do prefer it, and you can always add a camo.
To stop the small screws from the lens foot coming loose you could try using a drop of loctite. This product is used in the heavy industry to lock bolts and nuts. Depending on what you need you can go for red, blue or green tread lock
Yeah, but every time those screws are loosening and getting tightened, the threads are wearing, until one day they won’t tighten. Trust me, it happens. I would take the advice and get some thread lock, if I was you. Nice review and great video, by the way.
On the small screw part for the mount foot, have you tried loctite on it (I assume they screw into iron, not plastic)? If that does not help I would put some 2 component glue between the plate and screws...... for a more..... permanent fix hehe I'm still having my doubts between this one and the Sigma 150-600 as that one only needs 58cm focus range, more versatile but the downside, it seems less sharp around 500mm..... guess I have to get out and test them both before buy.
Hi Anders! I have the same problem with the small screws on the lens foot, otherwise I think it's great lens especially for video. Nice content, I follow you with pleasure! Jack
It is very sharp lens, but I find the RF 100-500 sharper, so with a bit more cropping have the same detail as the 200-600. I went trough several lenses and it is consistent observation. The image stabilization for video is a lot more shaky in the Sony as well. I really like the internal zoom though, especially for video work. Im trying now the Nikkor 180-600 which has the best video stabilization among the three bylut unfortunately my copy is not as sharp as the Sony. I will be returning it for replacement, I hope the next one will be better.
Lo del tornillo tiene solución fácil utiliza fija tornillos Loctite 242 de color azul es muy fácil sacas el tornillo y en la rosca pones una gota lo introduces en su sitio y lo dejas una hora para que seque el producto y problema solucionado para siempre
RX10 IV is the best bridge camera if you need the light weight compact mass for travelling, and don't need IS and fast AF. RX10 IV is not going to produce DSLR and associated lense quality images for moving subjects, but I love the motorised zoom control next to the shutter release button which with middle finger on the zoom control and index finger on the shutter release, can get the image in view / sized quicker and keep the camera steadier, than DSLR and manual zoom ring on the associate lenses.
@@NoLifeWithoutTime-d2uso excited have shot millions of photos learning with the Sony rx 10 m iv .. making the super upgrade to the Sony 1 II and the 200 600 5.6
I do need to remove it once in a while to put it in my bag, but I've later figured out the problem is in the hood and not the lens, fortunately - so I'll just need to buy me a new hood... I've just been to lazy doing that haha :)
Thanks for the great video...

I think you're right ;)

You are not the only one with those four lens foot screw getting loose. I had the same problem and fixed the issue by using Loctite.
Buen video, en wue spertura de diafragma se comporta mejor, tengo una 6700

I really want this lens, I hope to be able to afford it at the end of this year, or maybe sooner. Que gran video!! :D
Pray may Jesus fulfill ur dream
Cross my fingers for you - its really epic :) Guess you already know that haha..
Use Locktight on the screws they won't come undone unless you want them to. Great lens love mine.
Thanks for the advice! :) I'll try it out - can't imagine ever taking it off anyway.
Brother which camera are you using?

Agree, I think it's the best lens for the money! I wish I could put it on my canon gear 😅
Maybe you can with a converter of some sort? I don’t know 🤷♂️ you just gotta switch to Sony.. right 😉😅
@@andersaastrup haha maybe one day! When they know how to build a camera-grip I will switch the same minute ;)

Thank you so much 😊🙏 I’ve got a few solutions to this in the comments, so I’ll try that out.. if it works, I’ll keep you updated 👍
White reflects heat. That’s why.
Ahh didnt know that 😅 Thanks
The 4 screws on the lens foot base need a dab of 3m medium thread lock or they will keep coming lose
I Have one, its a great lens. Ive owned L canon lenses. And i do think they have a slight edge. But value for money, hands down, sony.
Yeah there are many lenses out there better and sharper - but the pricing though.. 💸😅 thanks for watching 🙏
Great lense

Nice to know 🙏 I haven’t tried other brands though, so I can’t tell.. but I absolutely love this lens - it does the job for me 👍😊
Is your Nikon 180-600 replacement equal to the Sony or better?

Use loctite on your screws so they don’t come undone
thanks! :)
I use the Sony rx10, 24 to 600mm
Also a nice all In one solution ☺️ haven’t tried the RX though

With little screws coming loose. Use a little bit of loctite.
Blue formula Loc-Tite will do the job.
Thank you guys 🙏 I’ll try that out and see if it works
RE lens hood...Just look for a collapsable rubber hood that screws into the filter screw mount...That way you never have to remove it.
I do need to remove it once in a while to put it in my bag, but I've later figured out the problem is in the hood and not the lens, fortunately - so I'll just need to buy me a new hood... I've just been to lazy doing that haha :)
Use blue loctite
