【蔵美館】～茨城県結城市

蔵の町茨城県結城市の蔵美館（くらびかん）に行ってきました
かつては、米屋さんの倉庫だった建物を利用して結城市の文化財を説明展示しています。小山政光の子小山三兄弟（残りは小山朝政・長沼宗政）の一人で結城家の祖結城朝光関連の展示　そして、展示の最大の目玉は天下の三名槍の一つ「御手杵の槍」のレプリカ
噂に違わぬ迫力です
結城家は徳川家康の実子で豊臣秀吉の養子になった結城秀康が継いだことでも有名ですね
この日は小山市の須賀神社の祇園祭りを見る予定だったのですが暑さで早々に退散・・・

【Kurabikan - Yuki City, Ibaraki Prefecture】
We visited the Kurabikan in Yuki City, Ibaraki Prefecture, a town of warehouses.
The building used to be a warehouse for rice dealers, and is used for explanatory displays of cultural assets of Yuki City. The exhibit is related to Asamitsu Yuki, one of the three Oyama brothers (the rest are Asamasa Oyama and Munemasa Naganuma), who was the son of Masamitsu Oyama and the founder of the Yuki family. The main attraction of the exhibit is a replica of the “Motegi no Yari,” one of the three most famous spears in Japan.
It is as powerful as the rumors say!
The Yuki family is famous for the fact that Hideyasu Yuki, the son of Ieyasu Tokugawa and adopted son of Hideyoshi Toyotomi, succeeded to the family.
We had planned to see the Gion Festival at Suga Shrine in Oyama City on the same day, but we left early due to the heat...
