Thank You Nadia, Chase & Ehsanimani. I followed this video and used it as a script to build up my evidences for the global talent visa as a musician. I got it and feel like a free bird 🎷 keep doing what you do ❤
@@VIOLINMONK you can research Global talent visa and to understand what it is and download the document to see what you need. Happy to share more ideas once you’ve done that
I have a question: When applying for a Global Talent Visa, what documents do I need to submit as proof that I have been actively doing music. I have been making music for the past five years, I signed a management contract in 2017 and took music more professionally since then. However I want to know if I’ll need to provide certain documents.
Candidates usually submit proof of their performances (pictures / videos / posters), others also submit proof of distribution (CDs sold, data from streaming services). In this interview, Ehsan provides examples of documents he used. Does this help?
@@beetlehopethank you for your reply. It did help a bit but I might just have to seek professional advice or get a lawyer as I fear I might not tick all the boxes if I apply on my own.
Hi Nadia, I worked in Hollywood, CA as a visual effects and motion graphics designer from 2007-2010. I have not been working in the field since then. I would like to come to the UK and do video/animation freelance work. Would I qualify for the "Global Talent UK visa", or is it just for people who are currently working in the field? I am an American, but I live in France on the temporary protection regime for Ukrainians with my Ukrainian wife now. Thanks, Blake.
When he was talking about the '30-page cover letter' they provided to show that all the criteria were met, were you referring to a table of contents outlining each section of the application?
Hi Eric, thanks for watching. I recommend you check out Arts Council endorsement guide for more information about the requirements for musicians: www.artscouncil.org.uk/global-talent-visa
If one of my material/content features in about four different magazine/ articles online, can I use the different magazines/articles of the same material/content as different evidences? or will it be considered as one evidence?
I don't see how this can be considered as different pieces of evidence if it's the exact same text. Maybe I misunderstood your question, perhaps you could clarify.
@@beetlehope Let me explain better. I am a music composer. If one of my music is performed at an event, it is considered as an evidence. If that same music is used as an online reviews on another platform, not the same event as the previous, can this online review of the same music serve as another evidence?
I think I understand the question and I have a similar one. If I have 2 different reviews in magazines (eg. One from rolling stone magazine and another one with different text from the guardian) but they are both reviewing the same Album/or song, does it count as one proof or two?
