I thought for sure they moved seeing the way they resembled how joints look when they are fully poseable. Hope to hear that the elbow just needed some loosening up. I'm looking forward to the Soul Crusher the most. He looks like a fun, well designed figure. CyGor is impressive but I'm still on the fence. I might have to see him in store to make a decision.
I had a fused foot joint on the first Violator figure Amazon sent me. I returned it and got a well functioning one. The QC level on these $59 figures should not be so hit and miss. I also wish this Cy-Gor’s fingers were all articulated. It would have made this figure amazing
Awesome review. The plastic feels kinda cheap compared to other mega figs but still love the sculpt and I also had the same issue with the right elbow but I fixed it with some hot blow !!!
These reviews are consistently awesome, in-depth and just fun to watch. Appreciate your take on crediting the artist too. Absolutely agree that these are works of art and the artists and craftsmen and women need to be recognized.

The articulation is kinda weak and that’s even before taking qc issues into account, so I’d say save the cash for something that will deliver more value. I’m going to return this one, we’ll see if I can find a fully functional one in the future🤘
Wow that’s weird that the elbow is fused! Epic looking figure, I read that you already returned him, I thought my Mcfarlane Steppenwolf had a fused left knee but I was able to force it to work and haven’t had issues since, I’m going to order this guy but even if the arm definitely won’t work I’ll use it as a statue figure, thanks for the review man 🤙
I'm glad I saw your review because you have convinced me of what I had suspected and that this figure is not worth $50.00 but I think it looks too skinny. The BEST Cygore based on sculpt presence is the RAW10 Cygore. What it lacks in articulation it more than makes up in sculpt and shell presence and at $20.00 retail and size, it's a no-brainer. The bad part is it was a Walmart exclusive but is only on the secondary market and the price is crazy. I bought two on clearance and I'll sell it to you for retail but include shipping.

This is the Best sculpt for Cygor However The Articulations are passive. You can't fully swing those arms and legs This is more like a Statue not a Figure. I wasn't Expecting like this.. This is literally a statue. I would grab it if only That Jaw and fingers are articulated but its not. and that Diaper sucks!... Im happy with my RAW10 and Violator megafig
Just got mine and the right arm doesn’t bend at the elbow as well. Knowing Todd’s control freak tendencies, he tends to “influence” how you pose his figures. He probably wants the right arm straight lol
I got him and watching your video I found you had the exact same issues I found and that's crazy! Can you please tell me if you could fix the right arm? I tried heating it and it won't totally flex like the left one.
I'll wait until it drops in price. I bought Violator on discount from Game Stop then I also used $10 game stop bucks I had on top of that. I bought the Clown on Amazon recently as it went on sale. For $50 I want to see jaw articulation and articulated fingers. McFarlane is kinda greedy for not putting more effort.

You might wanna check to see if he’s in stock and shipping on Amazon, and if so re-order and cancel your preorder. My preorder for Soul Crusher was delayed but then he showed up as in stock so I re-ordered.
Articulated hands would have made this figure a 9/10 toy. As it stands.. rough 7.5. Cool sculpt, but not sure why Todd yanked out the articulated hands. The prototype had articulated fingers. You can also see that prototype on the back of the box the figure game in. The hands even had sharp edged knuckles. Guess $$$ was an issue. :[
Overall, I like this review and all of your reviews. However, I wish you had shown the waist gap more clearly when you were talking about that part of articulation. It showed briefly, later, when you reviewed the legs, and it looked atrocious.
you know i decided to wait a few months before I got mine after the pre-orders and it came out just fine so you may be right about the correlation with the pre-orders and QC issues

10:41 is probably the only reason why I’ll pic up someone’s custom from eBay. I watched a review over a week ago of this figure and canceled it immediately. That diaper thing is TRASH. I love Capullo and I love CY-GOR. This is a massive let down. You did a good review though.
Figure looks good but my goodness that does not look fun to pose. That seems to be the case with most McFarlane figures, they simply just can't make articulation to save their life!

My violator's left arm snapped off at the elbow peg 5 min out of the box.... had to superglue it...

I've had mcfarlane DC figs with fused elbow joints, it happened to my swamp thing and one arm on my dark father figure

Not quite as heavy and a lower center of gravity. He feels kind of hollow compared to Violator.
