I have also seen your first ever journey on this CR RAJDHANI which you did before the pandemic from Delhi to Mumbai and that was also in the First AC. If I compare this journey with that one, nothing has changed. The food quality is the same as earlier. In fact, the conditions of the coaches are as good as earlier. The washrooms and the showroom are also up to the mark. In short, this is the only Rajdhani Express of our Indian Railways that has been maintained on top notch since its inaugural run, because I have seen most of the Rajdhani Express have been degraded in terms of services after COVID like, Ranchi Rajdhani, Bilaspur Rajdhani, Bengaluru Rajdhani, TVC Rajdhani, Bhuvneshwar Rajdhani and many more.
Hats off to the CR for maintaining this train up to the mark.
12951/2 Mumbai Rajdhani and 12953/4 August Kranti Rajdhani are in excellent shape too, to be honest.
@@thetechnocrat4979 You are absolutely right, that's why I deliberately didn't mention these two if you have noticed my comment above. In fact, Ahmedabad Swarna Jayanti Rajdhani Express has also maintained its services.

Ah! I see. You are right. But since you said that CR Rajdhani is the ' only ' Rajdhani to maintain its top notch condition, I was confused and mentioned my two favourite WR Rajdhanis.
Yes, Ahmedabad SJ Rajdhani is also in good condition.
@@thetechnocrat4979 Yes, you are right, I wrote above that CR Rajdhani is the only Rajdhani Express that has been maintained properly in the last five years because this Rajdhani hasn't changed since its inauguration, even the coaches are also the same as earlier. While the two Rajdhani which you mentioned above have been upgraded to the modern Tejas Rakes after COVID. Hence, the facilities must have been upgraded too along with the food.
In fact, their fares have also been increased a lot ever since they got their new uniform. The fare of Mumbai Rajdhani First AC was around 4800/Rs including food and dynamic charges before COVID, while the fare of current Tejas Rajdhani Express from Mumbai to Delhi in First AC is around 5300/Rs with the same route, same time table and same stoppages. But the fare of CR Rajdhani Express hasn't increased a lot in the last five years, and still it has maintained the same quality of food and other services. That's why I used the word "only" above.

Hmm. Good reasoning for that. CR Raj is the only conventional Rajdhani that has maintained it standards even after COVID. Just one correction, dynamic fare does not apply to First AC, even in Tejas coaches. Plus, the increase by ₹500 is justified because the coaches are of a much higher quality (used in 12951/2 and 12953/4).

I travelled by Rajdhani Express twice around 30 years ago. CR Rajdhani was not existent then. Both times we reached Delhi late.
When the train we are travelling in overtakes another the feeling is so great even though we haven't done anything.

I travelled from Nizamuddin to Nashik Road on 2nd March 2024. in AC 1st. The service was good. The dinner was freshly cooked and served very much on time with choice of ice cream. The only drawback was that the journey was very jerky throughout. I would still prefer to travel by Tejas Rajdhani from Mumbai as the journey was smoother. They should have a Tejas Rajdhani on the CR route also. Waiting to travel by Vande Bharat from Mumbai to Delhi or Nashik to Delhi as I am based in Nashik. Very nice video. Thanks.
Good point. The ride quality of CR Rajdhani is not that comfortable despite it being a good train. Main reason for that is the use of push pull WAP7 locomotives. The TE curve of WAP7 is very steep in comparison to WAP5 locomotives which results in an uneven haul and intense jerks, and the much heavier weight of the WAP7 doesn't help either.
@@thetechnocrat4979yeah... Push pull locos have little bit jerk though... But because of push pull it does not need to stop at kasara.. / igatpuri for banker locos!! Which saves time.
@@RailloverAS I can understand but we are paying a lot of money in AC 1, so the comfort is also necessary.
भारत की इतनी बड़ी जनसंख्या, ट्रैन में सफर तो करती है, पर हर कोई 1st class नहीं ले सकता, न ही इतना सीट उपलब्धता होती है, 1st class और अन्य क्लास में कैटरिंग चार्ज लगभग बराबर है तो सुविधा बराबर मिले, इस ओर ध्यान जाये ज्यादा बेहतर होगा
Ac 1st ka catering charges rs 160 zyada hai.

Maharashtra Sampark Kranti is best train. Is train ke phele 2 halt the (1st Vadodra 2nd Kota) between Mumbai And Delhi but ab add ho gaye hai. Aur 7 hours non stop chalti thi phele ye.
