In my city that would be considered trash. Garbage is what is thrown out in your kitchen. When I have trash I call the city for a trash truck. They send a dump truck to pick it up. Trash is anything like old tables, bookshelves, old TVs, anything bulk like that. Our garbage trucks won't pick up trash. They only pick up garbage.
These guys are doing a very fine job of picking up this entire house of stuff. They are earning every single dollar. Saw the one guy get soaked picking up a drawer and did not phase him. You guys are great.
I wish these people weren't so wasteful. I would've gladly paid the woman at the first house for the dresser she threw away. At least the garbage men save the metal for scrappers
In some places, other people don’t want your old stuff. Before I relocated, I tried giving away all my old but nice furniture via Facebook marketplace. Not a single taker. Couldn’t leave it out on the curb with a free sign as the city would have fined me. The dump was where it all ended up.
Yes they do. I go around on garbage days in my area trying to save stuff. I'll drive 30 miles from my house because there aren't many scrappers in those areas and they just throw away everything and it all goes into the garbage truck
