Thanks for watching. I'm glad you enjoyed it. It is a fairly unique location. I'll drag the drone along next time to get a different perspective on this gorge.

The walk back to the road lacked ‘spice’. Where I fish, poisonous snakes, bull moose or man-eating bears always keeps you on your toes! All part of fly fishing for trout here🫨

I have been waiting for someone to ask about snakes or bears. I'm more than OK with not having to worry about being mauled or eaten when stumbling around in our bush 😄. I do wonder about the hazards experienced by trout fishermen in other parts of the globe. The most dangerous thing I regularly encounter is Blackberry vines. These are really only a threat to my waders.
Thanks for watching and your comments. Much appreciated.

You walked past most of the pool

Not really. It just looks that way on the action camera. I have to cross this pool at the tail end to be able to fish it. I can easily cover the undisturbed area of this pool that will hold fish from the head of it. The wide angle lens makes it look bigger than it really is.

Fair enough - lovely fish anyway and a delightful spot. Well done.

Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment. Yes, it was a nice, conditioned Brown. They only make up about 5% of the fish in this river and are a welcome change from the Rainbows.
