My honest opinion that I'm impressed with Baby Monster because of their talent when it comes to Vocals and Rap, they're really good and plus include their Dance skills and live stage Performance. They have the best. They have everything. It's hard to find in other kpop idols.....

Actually, I think Choice37 was more worried about Pharita straining or losing her voice even more. Her vocal cords were swollen and not in the best condition when they were checking on her part. So I feel he was really looking out for her health wise, they didn’t have enough time and she wasn’t in good condition to perfect that part. Which is why he gave it to Ahyeon because at that point in time she was in good condition. Which makes sense, you don’t want to push Pharita’s vocals when she isn’t is good condition, so give her the parts where she can show her other strengths and can handle even if she’s not at 100% and would not strain her vocal chords.

Hey Espy, Happy New Year from Los Angeles to you in South Africa. Thanks for this reaction. I remember watching, I think it was Light Up The Sky on Netflix and Rose' said this was the most vocally challenging song she had ever done, because of that part. She sings it differently live. At least I've never heard her sing it this way live.
Great reaction! As a Rose' fan, not sure if you noticed, but when BlackPink is on world tour, she changes up that part vocally agile part to something simpler. When they are on tour it just gets tiring and you need to be in top condition to perform that part. That is how difficult the part is. Amazing how Pharita was able to do it when her throat was in better conditions and that Ahyeon could also perform it live in the evaluation. Speaks volumes about their vocal agility.

Pharita would have nailed it but he as a producer was not prepared to risk Pharita from debuting. It started to become clear at this point that YG wanted 2 High range vocalists, especially when Ahyeon was asked to step up with Dangerously cover later. It was a High risk move and with hind sight, clearly Ahyeon was put into a High risk situation because as we all know Ahyeon could not debut. Sad but Ahyeon must have hurt her vocals during these final evaluations that have prevented her from debuting. Sad.
So why is Pharita more important than Ahyeon? Why risk such a huge talent with Ahyeon? Simply because they already have 2 other Korean monster talent with Rami and Rora. Pharita is also an all rounder, monster talent rapper, singer, dancer and is from Thailand and because of Blackpink Lisa from Thailand, the Thai Market is mega huge for YG. Mega as in the Thai king attends Blackpink concerts in Thailand held at the largest Thai stadium that would be filled in full capacity. The 2 Thai members, Pharita and Chiquita are key to the Thai Market.
