Been about a million renditions of this song. This version has always been my favorite. I always imagine Eric Clapton gets a little teary-eyed when he hears it.
This album reminds me of my first hardcore crush and almost boyfriend whom my father chased a block down the street 😅. I listened to CODA for the first time at this dude's house.
There are two people in this conversation when it comes to Led Zeppelin as some of you may know. There is me, or what I perceive of as my own mind realising thoughts in this moment and there is the other me, the me or us beyond the veil of all our conscious minds. Led Zeppelin taught me about the one and the other, and in this lifetime I shall for ever be thankful.
This song is one of their lesser known and under rated songs and among my faves with the exception of "she aint but sixteen" . They were heavily influenced by black blues musicians.... Muddy Waters, Lead Belly, Howlin Wolf and more. Without them, there'd be no Led Zeppelin. They put these artists music on steroids. It was a magical combination of blues and rock.
I think Robert Plant makes a mistake with the lyrics singing 'had no lovin' since my baby been born' but it's meant to be 'since my baby been gone' which he sings later.
I have to say we'll done for reacting to a not so well known lz song. Instead of stairway to heaven or immigrant song or black dog you have chosen a lesser known gem. I would also suggest ramble on its a beautiful song by this band
hello magg & rash and how your day going and have you thought about live streaming on twitch and starting your own podcast and starting your own vlog channel on youtube and starting your own tiktok account and starting your own discord account and starting your own patreon account or onlyfans account in the future
I hit like before you even started cuz I KNEW you 2 would love it! 🤣 This is one of my personal top 3 favs of Zeppelin - awesome! 👍

The one and only time the band performed the song
LZ showing their roots full on...this is the epitomy of the origins of electric blues, and the biggest influence of LZ...pure fire 🔥

Have this song on LZ bootleg album years before it was released on Coda
What a tune
this is live from the bbc sessions, LOVE this track and they never did it in the studio
Indeed, the one and only time they did the song

The one and only time they played or recorded the song
Robert Johnson wrote this song
the best
This song has heavy influence from past Blues Artists like Muddy Waters,Little Walter, and others from that Genre .
Blues. Blues. Hard.
Nice reaction! Please do Baby Come on Home from the Coda album it LZ doing a Motown sounding song
lol wtf is up with that Tshirt "Bitch I ride a unicorn" lol good stuff
Heavy Blues bands like Led Zeppelin and Black Sabbath are the best music to get faded to.

Just his style, hardly ever would they do a song exactly the same

2054 and this band still rocks.... even a small tactical nuclear war can't kill rock and roll
How about 2328
Robert Plant makes my blood HOT!
Do yourself a favor and just keep listening to Led Zeppelin.
I hate when they stop to chat in middle of the song. Let it play...
