Fuel Gauge Replacement on a John Deere 630 Tractor

Very good video I'm not much of a mechanic but during the seventies I took two 730,s apart and painted them much like the 630. Wish I still had them.

Great video but be cautious about using a vacuum cleaner around an open fuel tank, they generate static electricity that could ignite the fumes. I like the 630, it's my favorite JD model.

I am in the process of changing out the sending unit and gauge on our 630 now! Hope it goes well.

This is all well and good, I'd like to see where you came across the key switch 12v and the 12v positive ground.

what is the ohms for the gauge. Does the sending unit need to be made for a positive ground?
