    How do you know whether to change the battery in the fob key or the alarm itself???

    • @sc092270

      You don’t. I just change one and see if it works.

    I have bought such a device for my Motocycle. It's garbage.
    The alarm system arms itself while driving (~once per week). The alarm triggers for absolutely no reason. Even if you just put this device on your table and leave the room, the alarm turns on, randomly. Depending on sensitivity level you can lower the rate of these ghost alarms and they only seem to not occur when the sensitivity is that low, that a thief can take your bike without triggering the alarm at all.
    This is a problem here in Germany.
    If the police comes because of such a fake alarm, it gets expensive.

      Mine went off one time when I hit a bump going fast. The battery life in it is terrible.

    • @sacrifer7499
      @sacrifer7499 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@sc092270 Thats why I connected it with my 12V Bike battery (some electronics in between), that gets recharged. The AAA batteries still remain as backup.
      In my job I'm also working with 3-axis accelerometer sensors and I don't understand how any company can sell such a product with almost zero noise filtering. That isn't even difficult at all, just set the noise reduction bit in the sensors cpu to "1" and its done.
      Guess I build my own much better alarm system soon but without remote control for simplicity, just 2 buttons that have to be pressed in a specific order to disarm.
      The alarm will not just trigger by vibrations but also by changing the angle of the device/bike.
