I've noticed a bit of a pattern in the signal ID plates. Even numbers are in the up direction, while odd numbers are in the down direction.
Favourite moment: 15:38 -- "Main aspect signal Tango free free free." ^_^
What aspects can the two alphanumeric indicators show on the right at 18:35?
D for the Down Main and U for the Up Main(SIMBADS)
Mother and me love the British trains ☺☺☺☺☺
I am just wondering why the Stations at Balcombe are not even
A few years ago a freight train derailed and demolished the northern end of the down platform.
@@davidpocknee5672 ohhhh ok
Really nice video. There a plethora of signal aspects. I need a notebook!
Find rail upgrade of east west rail line in the Uk
What kind of DMU is this?
Joanne Mack it's a EMU
It’s a 387 EMU, I’m assuming (the electric motor and distinctive “tsst” sound when setting off sounds like an Electrostar, the AWS sounds like the newer Mk4 model and it’s Thameslink white - in the reflection @ 4:30)
Clearly there is the third rail so I fail to see how anyone can think this is a DMU?
@@ds1868 Diesel trains are not banned from operating on electrified lines.
ds1868 not everyone would know it’s a third rail for power. Very few places have this system
