You need to distribute it eventually throughout your hair and massage it in. You also need to use plenty of water because it’s really thick. It came out beautifully though😍 add some styling gel for extra hold & definition, and then argon oil to seal in the moisture and your curls will be EXTRA lavish 🔥🔥🔥

I used to like hand too it used to work really well on my hair but then I started to realize that it wasn't stretching out my curls as well and I would buy curling creams from the dollar store that would actually stretch them out better it like flat into my hair or something 😭 but it's a really good moisturizer to leave the hair soft

Interesting. I have thin and fine 2B curls. I put a lot less product than you and got similar results. It really softened my hair but the curls are inconsistent.

When it dried the curls are still perfect all day. He likes the hold it gives. My only problem is the price where we live. Almost $40 for the large container.
We have similar hair type, down to the soft baby hair at the nape. Cantù is not designed to rake thru our hair. I’ve done it and my hair just shrink back to Afro like I did nothing! You would have had better definition with the finger coils you started 😊

If your hair is dry and thin it might be damaged. Try to focus more on buying products that are for moisturising rather than curling products as curling products have chemicals that can damage your hair more.

Hey dear, to be honest I can't give you a straight answer to that. Because every hair is different. For some it takes atleast three to six months to start see real change. For other, it may take a full year before you're completely chemical free. For me I was always bald-headed, that's where I started from. Hope this help.
This works well for me on very wet hair. The wetter the better and it will take less product. Curls last up to three days.
Agree I wet my so its just moist then use the cream, and I reapeat during the week if I have to, to make it last for couple of days👍

All I use is Cantu products and right after the shampoo I use Curl Max once or twice and it leaves my hair curly and soft.

If your 'Low Porosity', that it took a while to absorb the product is probably normal for your hair type. Hot water may have helped.
It didn't curl enough for you because yo hair was not damp enough I tried it out and it curled up for me after conditioning
