I never got to see him play but I’ve met him several times. One of the most down to earth guys, you’d never think that he was an NFL QB, he acts like every other regular guy you would meet where I grew up in Western New York.

I think it was 95, kelly threw a pic against Atlanta, ran the guy down about 40 yards down the sidelines and broke his leg. To this day, Jim Kelly still the toughest player I've ever seen

9:37, That AWESOME no-huddle offense. I LOVED it. My football life as a kid started with the 90's Bills. No one in HISTORY could run an offense with that type of tempo. I used to clock how fast Jim Kelly got the plays off. He would get some of the plays off in UNDER 15 seconds! Ask Howie Long about the 1990 AFC Championship game🤣😂Kelly should have won Super Bowl 25 & 28, he should be at least 2-2 in the Super Bowls💯

Lifelong Chiefs fan here and I can't fully explain it but this interview got me emotional. Knew Jim had been through some things and just so good to see him happy and healthy and telling stories. No matter what team you root for those icons of our youth really mean something and mark a special time in our lives and he's one of them. So glad you took the time to talk him and thanks to Jim for sharing himself with us 🙏🏽🙏🏽

So I also identify with Jim in the sense of your life and health changing in ways you didn't expect but still finding strength and happiness in the good things. Great example of someone turning into a great human being. Earliest i can remember seeing him in person was at legends of the aud, a wrestling event, at memorial auditorium in the mid 90s. Lifer Bills fan that drives 1100 miles one way a few times a year. Was in the Bills store on a random Thursday before the Dolphins game in Dec 2022. Wasn't crowded at all but I saw a slick dressed guy following around by a much taller older gentleman in sweats and a covid mask and ball cap. Just went about my business. We happened to start browsing the same rack of jerseys and the older fella started talking to the guy helping him. Without eye contact, still browsing the rack, I said "I recognize that voice, how ya feeling these days Jim." He paused hard for a second, and said "Im actually feeling a lot better, thank you. Merry Christmas!" Exchanged fist bumps and we went on our merry way. Absolute paramount for me meeting a Bills legend.

I played in with the band at halftime at the greatest comeback in NFL history at the time vs. the Huston Oilers. It was the greatest experience of my life. We warmed up in the bubble with the team. We even shared a bathroom in the tunnel with the players. A friend of mine actually had to wait for Jim to come out of the bathroom to use it. Like I said one of the greatest experiences of my life. Jim Kelly was the sweetest to us. What a great man.

One of Jim's best throws in my opinion was to Jaime Mueller for a TD to beat the Jets in 1990. He had one to Andre Reed against Miami where he stepped up in the pocket, about to be sacked, and got it 20 yards downfield to Andre who slipped coverage for a TD.

19:00 Chris doesn't know the story of The Bickering Bills, and how they almost tore themselves apart before they got their collective heads right and went on a run. What a great interview, though; this has been super fun (especially because I watched Josh's interview right before AND Chris did bring up Josh's question to Jim).

I hope Jim and the rest of those guys understand, I was just 5, and these dudes were larger than life. Saw them at the training camp. I felt so small (they were all full pads) and out comes Jim Kelly. Tallest one of them all it seemed. Again I was 5. Now I’m 36. Probably just as tall as Jim.
