I guess they didn’t have Cedrat 37 yet. That is my number one of the city exclusives. Followed by the Baie Rose, Gaiac, then Vanille 44 (Vanilla got last because it reminded me too much of my Celine Dans Paris). Great review!

I went in hell bent on purchasing Gaiac because I love Tokyo but was so disappointed by it's lasting power. It disappears almost immediately. Such a skin scent. My favourite ended up being Mousse De Chene as well. And it was also the shop attendat's favourite. It's a very safe scent.

Personally I find Citron far more interesting than Gaiac. That being said, Gaiac does come alive on your skin giving you a sweet cedar wood fragrance with menthol top notes. Very good for hot weather if you want a more minimalist vibe.
Musc 25 and Baie Rose are my absolute favs LOL Mousse de chene went back - I didn’t expect such a chemical/synthetic creation from them. Thank you for sharing your opinions.

Yeah they usually do. You may on the off chance get one that disappears because they shut down that particular store but on the whole they all come back. Citron is not going anywhere as this is their latest city exclusive release so you are safe with that one.
I also love Mousse de Chene. It’s also so versatile and good for work settings. I’m gonna try layering it with Citron and see what happens. Benjoin actually doesn’t do much for me - not sure if it just doesn’t perform well on my skin or what. Would be great for layering though. Tabac 28 is one of my absolute favorites (#1 for me is Thai Tabac from Ensar Oud) and I actually love wearing it on summer nights as long as it’s not humid out.
Absolutely, it is sooo versatile! Ooo you will have to let me know how you get on. I have not tried layering any of these fragrances before. I love Tabac, so interesting and unusual. you are 100% correct, I think the key is humidity that makes me wary of wearing this fragrance in the heat.

I went in today to purchase POIVRE 23 as I'm moving away from London and changed my mind for MOUSSE DE CHENE 30! MOUSSE DE CHENE 30 stay wayyyy longer on my skin, POIVRE 23 unfortunalty doesn't. For the classic fragrances I wear Santal 33 layered with the noir 29, a dream! Or another 13. Loving everything about the Labo apart from the prices lol. I wish I could find a dupe for MOUSSE DE CHENE 30! Also maybe a video idea, I saw that they had fake Le Labo Fragrances on Wish ( a lot of santal 33), you should do a review to see how it's different from the real one lol!

Dolce & gabbana k eau de parfum ore edt. Thank me later. Had mousse de chene and d&g k side by side and they smel 85% similar. And the edp version is extremely long lasting and it smels amazingly close to le labo mousse de chene 30.
Wearing limette 37 today and it lasts forever on my shirt. I hated it at first but blind bought a full bottle and decided I needed to wear it, instead of it collecting dust.I have to say I actually love it.

Recently tried Gaiac 10 & Aldehyde 44. I preferred A 44 but ultimately both were disappointing. Gaiac 10 smells nothing like molecule 01 or 02. More like a light Diptyque Tam Dao. Molecule 01 & 02 are in a different League
I think I would have loved Gaiac to just project more and give me more of those menthol notes rather than just the cedar scent. I have not tried that Diptyque, I will gave to give that one a go. Thank you once again for your amazing support!!

Also I feel, to me, spraying parfum in between showers is meh. Gaiac is my fave tbh and I love. You might like Sens by Dyptique. Def less expensive than Le Labo.
I absolutely loved the rawness and pureness of Tabac. But where would I ever wear it to? It's so strong and I although I love the scent I don't want to smell like booze and cigars 😂 if only I were a rock star!
