    Sir, Before the Red cross credential, they asked all of my certificates for pre-check. Recognitions mans success completion of this pre-check?

    • @visalibrary
      @visalibrary  18 วันที่ผ่านมา

      The pre-check of your certificates by the Swiss Red Cross is an initial step in the recognition process. Successful completion of this pre-check means that your documents meet the basic requirements, but it does not guarantee full recognition. After the pre-check, you will likely need to go through further assessments, such as language proficiency tests or additional training, before your qualifications are fully recognized and you can work as a nurse in Switzerland.

    Hello
    I live and studying nursing in Norway. I got my Norwegian citizenship and I plan to move to Switzerland and have a job there as a nurse like can I start work immediately with only speaking English?

    • @visalibrary
      @visalibrary  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hello! While you can apply to work as a nurse in Switzerland, speaking only English may limit your opportunities. Most healthcare positions require proficiency in one of Switzerland's official languages (German, French, or Italian), depending on the region. It’s best to check with potential employers about their language requirements. Good luck!

    Hi I am ragistered Nurse with 2yrs experience and willing to work in Switzerland and known only English so is there any exam need to clear.

    • @visalibrary
      @visalibrary  หลายเดือนก่อน

      To work as a registered nurse in Switzerland, you'll need to get your nursing qualifications recognized, and this often involves passing an exam. However, a significant challenge is the language requirement. In Switzerland, it's generally necessary to be proficient in the national language of the region you wish to work in (German, French, or Italian). English alone is usually not sufficient for practicing nursing, as you'll need to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues. You should consider taking a language course to reach the required proficiency level in the relevant Swiss national language. Additionally, you might need to pass a professional competency test depending on the evaluation of your credentials. It's advisable to contact the Swiss Red Cross or the relevant cantonal health department for specific guidance tailored to your situation.

      @visalibrary  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes, you will need to follow similar steps, including having your qualifications recognized by the Swiss Red Cross and obtaining a work permit. It's recommended to contact the Swiss Red Cross for detailed guidance specific to your situation.

    • @visalibrary
      @visalibrary  หลายเดือนก่อน

      To pursue a nursing job in Switzerland:
      Recognize Qualifications: You will need to get your BScN degree validated by the Swiss Red Cross.
      Language Proficiency: Proficiency in one of Switzerland's national languages (German, French, or Italian) is typically required, as most patients and healthcare professionals speak these languages. Some concessions may exist, but language skills are crucial.
      Job Search: Look for job openings on Swiss job portals such as JobUp, LinkedIn, and healthcare-specific sites.
      Networking: Join professional networks and associations for nurses in Switzerland to connect with others and learn about opportunities.
      Visa and Work Permit: Secure a job offer first; your employer will assist with the visa and work permit process.

    Can fresher nurses come to Switzerland?
    Like freshly completed nursing program and got license from India but has no experience? Does Switzerland accept it?

    • @visalibrary
      @visalibrary  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yes, fresher nurses can come to Switzerland, but there are several requirements you must meet. Switzerland recognizes foreign nursing qualifications, but you will need to go through a recognition and equivalence process with the Swiss Red Cross, which is responsible for validating foreign nursing credentials. Additionally, you may need to prove proficiency in one of the national languages (German, French, or Italian) depending on the region where you intend to work. Having no experience might limit some employment opportunities initially, but you can start your career in Switzerland once you fulfill these requirements.

      @visalibrary  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Your B2 German certificate is a good start; some positions may require a higher level. To work as a registered nurse in Switzerland:
      Get your nursing degree validated by the Swiss Red Cross.
      Look for job openings on Swiss job portals like JobUp and healthcare-specific sites.
      Secure a job offer first; your employer will assist with the visa and work permit process.

      Hello! To work as a nurse in Switzerland, you need to have your diploma recognized by the Swiss Red Cross. Proficiency in German at B2 level is typically required. As for a green card, Switzerland has a different system. You'd need to apply for a residence permit, which may be possible if you secure a job and meet other criteria. Best of luck!

    Hello dear sir i subscribed your channel
    I want to know about language that all three zerman , french and italian language are compulsory otherwise one language compulsory in all three languages.

    • @visalibrary
      @visalibrary  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Neither German, French, nor Italian is compulsory for all nurses in Switzerland.
      Here's the breakdown:
      Language Requirement: It depends on the specific region where you want to work. Switzerland has four national languages: German, French, Italian, and Romansh.
      Most Common: German is the most widely spoken language, so proficiency in German (typically B1 or B2 level) is desirable for many nursing positions.
      In summary: The language requirement depends on your target location. While German is common, fluency in French or Italian might be necessary for jobs in those cantons.

    Thanks for the vid. With the salary of a nurse, you can provide alone for a family and maybe buy a house? Thanks!

    • @visalibrary
      @visalibrary  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yes, with careful financial planning, you can do it. Nurses in Switzerland can expect a good salary, with an average annual salary of around 120,000 CHF. Salaries can range from 76,800 CHF to 230,000 CHF, depending on experience and the specific role. With this level of income, providing for a family and considering the purchase of a house may be feasible, though it's important to account for the high cost of living in Switzerland and the specifics of the housing market in your desired area.

    Is a uk degree in nursing recognised in switzerland?

    • @visalibrary
      @visalibrary  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes, a UK degree in nursing is generally recognized in Switzerland. However, to work as a nurse in Switzerland with a foreign qualification, you need to undergo a recognition process. This involves submitting your qualifications to the Swiss Red Cross, the body responsible for the recognition of foreign nursing qualifications in Switzerland. They assess if your qualifications meet Swiss standards. Additionally, proficiency in a national language (German, French, or Italian) is usually required depending on where you wish to work.

    • @visalibrary
      @visalibrary  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      To immigrate to Switzerland as a nurse, you'll need to be proficient in German, French, or Italian, as English isn't widely accepted for healthcare roles. Begin by obtaining language certification in the relevant language for your chosen region in Switzerland. Next, get your nursing qualifications recognized by the Swiss Red Cross. Finally, secure a job offer from a Swiss healthcare institution, which is necessary to apply for a work permit. Consider using job platforms and healthcare recruitment agencies to find suitable positions.

      For assistance in immigrating to Switzerland as a nurse, it's recommended to consult with recruitment agencies specialized in healthcare professions, as well as the official websites of the Swiss Red Cross and the Swiss Nursing Association (SBK). These organizations often provide guidance or can recommend reputable agencies that help with the process of recognition of foreign qualifications and job placement in Switzerland.

    Sir I'm a nursing student and I'm from Pakistan 🇵🇰 ... Is it possible for me to go to Switzerland as a nurse in future?

    • @visalibrary
      @visalibrary  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes, it is possible for you to immigrate to Switzerland as a nurse in the future, but there are several important steps and requirements you'll need to fulfill. Switzerland has strict regulations for healthcare professionals, including nurses. You would need to have your nursing qualifications recognized by the Swiss Red Cross, the authority responsible for validating foreign healthcare qualifications in Switzerland. Additionally, proficiency in one of the national languages (German, French, or Italian) at a B2 level for oral communication and B1 for written communication is often required, depending on the region where you plan to work.
      You'll also need to secure a job offer from a Swiss employer, and the employer must demonstrate that the position could not be filled by a local or EU/EFTA national. Once you have a job offer and your qualifications are recognized, you can apply for a work permit. The immigration process can be complex, so it's advisable to consult with the Swiss embassy or consulate in Pakistan for the most accurate and up-to-date information.
