I expected a similar experience to Alan Wake, but was hugely disappointed! Nevermind the lack of combat, that's not the reason. The main reason is that this game just did not get me motivated into the story telling (which is rare), presented by narrative experience. This is not a puzzle game, or rather not an organic action puzzle game like Penumbra Requiem, it's more like a ''search and listen'' type of game, where puzzle solving is a mental thing, which, obviously does have it's followers, but i will pass... Also, no jump in this game, WTF?

Idk bout u man but this game is more to mystery investigation but yet calming and so soothing i mean look at the open world forest and the old building. When i play and first to enter the forest, i feel it creepy but yet so peaceful in the forest so like i try to tell u that if u play this it gave u some kind of feeling thats is weird but soo soothing, peaceful and kinda some feel-trip nostalghia thingy thing. So by introducing combat in this would heavily loose it theme of mystery and yet peaceful invrstigation. I love it concept where u have these power to know what happen to the certain area or situation as it kimda make u move to the past and let u experience the feel of nostalghia. So imagine if a crime scene let u go to the past, what about the forest and the satisying old building? Dont u want to know what kinda happen to it before it became so damn calm, silent and yet full of mysteries?
No hard feeling bro, i just sharing my opinion that hope maybe this will change how u view the game.
