- A Labour MP criticised a primary school for having young children pose with a trans-inclusive pride flag.
Rosie Duffield stated that young pupils may not comprehend the concepts of sexuality and gender identity they were being encouraged to celebrate, and should be allowed to discover them when they are older.

Many have known this a long time. Either a good school with traditional decency or do what you can for them yourself. Everyone should be attending a gospel church and related programs also. It really helps. Keep trying and don't give up. There are many good programs for home instruction. What is available is getting better all the time. I did it from fall 1990 to spring 2005 when needed. About half of that time span with one child at times, and later with both of them. They are doing well at ages 37 and 39 now.
The LGBTQ flag represents a political organization. No school kids of any age should have this forced on them. Completely not needed.

@@UndercoverDog-j5t I mostly agree with what you said, but I will contest that it represent all of the LGBTQ community, as I've heard enough gay people who distanced themselves from the organization.
The reason why I believe they are a political org is because they are active in government, often advising government including the police, NHS etc which results in policy changes ... ie government changing course which to me at least, amount to politics. For instance the NHS asking staff to stop using words like boys and girls, and not pregnant woman etc etc and almost every government institution having LGBTQ teams within the organization pushing their causes.

Yeah, do you remember when teachers weren't permitted to discuss their personal political opinions with pupils? I left school in '89 at 16 and that was strictly the rule all the way through my schooling.

My next door neighbour is a primary school teacher, she has a 2 year old boy. She is dressing him up in girls clothing and putting pink ribbons in his hair. I asked why, her reply "So HE can make HIS own mind up as to what gender HE wants to be." HE'S 2yrs old FFS.
Presumably she also won't speak to him, until he's decided what language he would prefer!

There are approx 300 employees where i work. This year, as a celebration of Pride, the company is allowing people to wear pronoun badges if they want. So far, precisely zero people have opted to wear them, including the few trans people.

@@LolaSmith-ow6ie I don't know about all schools, but my kids school monitored the contents of their lunch boxes and banned chocolate at one point. I only have nieces and nephews left in the system now and the comprehensive that they'll eventually go to, already has 4 furries and litter trays.

I have seen so many examples of totally inappropriate materials for young school children that I genuinely believe that "pdf files" have infiltrated the education system. My children are all adults now, but if they were still at school I would insist on examining all the teaching materials that they use - I believe that parents were quite recently given the right to do this.

There was a video I watched the other day of a farther going into his child’s school. Where the teacher of his child a little boy had him dressed in a skirt and the father completely lost it and told them to take it off it him and don’t let it happen again .

I have an elderly relative in a care home, the residents there all have severe dementia and I was stunned this year about how Pride was brought into the care home. What I specifically found concerning was the way the residents, most of who do not know when or where they are, had essentially been reduced to props by the management… and I say the management as the staff made it clear this was something they were required to do.
I have no words !!

There is a play group cafe near to me where they are flying a LGBTQ flag, it offends me that young children are exposed to this.
