I have 16 young chicks and my oldest bunch just started laying last week at 18 weeks old. I have shades of blue-ish, and light browns. Looking forward to seeing what other colors I get from my younger chicks. I have 15 week old leghorns so I'll also have white. 🙂

my ameraucanas will be 26 weeks in 2 days and havent seen an egg. got 6 of them. However i noticed that the roo has started dancing form some of them. and the combs are darkening on some.

I wonder if smaller flocks take longer to start?? I only have 6 hens- barred rock and RIR- but no one is laying yet!! At 22 weeks! My kids and I go into the chicken yard every day for a bit...I wonder if that stresses them out?? They come up to us and run around with us. It seems like they want privacy to go off from the flock to find a cozy spot to nest- but the others all follow each other around??? I have decided to not let the kids go in until the laying begins!! Any extra advice?? I'm going to check out your feeding video too.

Hello! I have a question about chickens eating their eggs. I have 21 chickens and out of those two chickens eat their eggs constantly! My step says if they continue he will have to kill them! I love my chickens! What do I do to keep them from eating their eggs? We have tried the ceramic eggs and they always have food and water. I am running out of time. Please help!
