Your content is absolutely outstanding. Thanks for doing such a thorough walk through of this new EKX Expansion. I own many Rhodes plugins and libraries, but your review has convinced me to pick this one up. Keep up the great work!
At first I thought I also had far too many Rhodes soft instruments to need this, but of course your fantastic video made me realize it is absolutely essential I get this EKX! Love the keyboard midi grooves, and all the adjustability of the sound! I used to own and gig on on 70's Rhodes too, so it brings back LOTS of memories! It will be great to solo over too. One tiny tip I would like to add - the word Tremolo is pronounced with the accented syllable on the Trem part - such as "TREM-uh-loh" :-) Looking forward to July 1st Live Stream next Sat!!!
DO not hold me up to that pronunciation!!!! We'll see if I remember though ;) I saw the MK2 at a music store the other day for $2k. If I had the space and the cash it would have been cool to take home.
It would be great for something like playing the 2 Piano Parts of Rejoice We Sing by Ruth Watson Henderson, like you could play the 1st Piano Part on Soul Roads 1 & the 2nd Piano Part on Soul Roads 2.
Is there an EZ keys for music like Electric Call boy? How do I get started in that type of sound coming from a guitar player background and not at all a keys/synth player? I just do NOT speak that language and I struggle to understand that alphabet.
I can't research the sounds for you. A single band could use 100's of sounds. Simply check out Toontrack's audio demos for their keyboard EKX expansions if you use EZkeys 2: www.toontrack.com/product-category/ezkeysline/ekx/ If you are a guitarist that owns a keyboard, this video maybe helpful to you: th-cam.com/video/MHYq07kcGq8/w-d-xo.html That video combined with learning and understanding EZkeys 2, will get you further in the direction of producing pro keys as a guitarist. That's the best I have for you for now. Stay tuned for more EZK2 vids if you like my presentation style.
Thanks man I’ll check out those links. FYI didn’t expect you to research this. I think my question is was poorly formed. I just meant how do bands go about using keys for music that’s heavy? More like death metal disco?
FREE Live Stream creating with Toontack products on July first. Detail here: th-cam.com/users/livebHBGKXQOHNk?feature=share
Thanks Shawn. Always glad to see when you have a new video!

Always love seeing new videos pop up from Shootie School. This product is definitely worth checking out. Thanks for the knowledge!
You're the best!
Thank you for this all encompassing look at Soul Roads. Loving some of those neosoul chord progressions on these EPs. Another great video from you.
Thank you for saying, Winip!
You pulled some magic out of that, Shawn! Lots of really cool sounds and options there. More than I expected. Nice run through.
Thank you, Scott! Hope you're well!

Thanks, it’ now in my arsenal…well done vid!
Awesome! Hope you enjoy.
Reaper does have stereo knobs. Right click on the pan knob and choose from the dropdown menu.
Thank you, Patrick. When I was asking a Reaper group I got many options. This is just the one I decided to present.
@@ShootieSchool Yeah, I personally don't usually like the 2 knob workflow, so I stick with the default usually.
Awesome as usual! Love yer love for music of all kinds ... how'd you get ezdrummer build into songtrack of sd3? Cheers!
Joe. You can drag from Song Track to Song track between them both. At least on PC. It's easier than importing, exporting midi.
@@ShootieSchool thanks!

What midi groove did you use on the first song? Great tutorials btw
Drew, I assume you mean which EZD beat? I didn't save the project... sorry about that.
Im new to this and I'm having an issue loading the library to EZkeys 2

You are using the Product Manager and have installed from that program?
