‼️Yeah. This happened to a raft of titanic survivors. It's never talked about because the sinking was so dramatic on its own. But a lifeboat of survivors disappeared and in the chaos no one noticed. A couple years later a Titanic lifeboat with skeletons in it washed ashore in the Caribbean I believe it was. Seriously look it up if you're interested
Wtf was up with the one paper that the survivors found in the bottle? Of all the loose ends, that’s the one I’m still puzzling over. If anybody knows what that meant, I’d appreciate being enlightened before I give myself another migraine trying to figure it out.
A skilfully written story fear-factor-wise, but lacking in realistic details. With four bottles of water for seven people, they would have died of thirst before their starvation would have compelled them to cannibalism, unless it rained every now and then (also, drinking one's urine is supposedly a thing in these conditions). And even with rain, thirst would have been a constant issue, along with feeling cold at night. Also, don't people put on lifejackets when landing on water? There are whistles and torches attached to be able to signal for help.
Outstanding! Absolutely reminds me of the film “In the Heart of the Sea” with Chris Hemsworth and Tom Holland. An excellent movie about how Moby Dick was written, and the (supposed) true story of what really happened. Great job!!!
This made me feel very uneasy. The parts with flesh ripping and such.Anyone know how to make it stop.I like the story but hate myself for having this weakness...
Absolutely silly. The writer must have forgotten that people need water far more than they need food, and somehow exposure wasn’t an issue at all for these people. The entire story uses 3rd Grader logic. It’s so focused on one small and relatively unimportant aspect of survival at sea (food) they they neglected everything that would be an actual issue in a much more immediate timeframe.
Considering the physical anatomy of the creature described to have been watching the people on the raft and what had happened to the corpse mentioned in the narration I suspect the entity beneath the water may have been some type of undead. I assume that it must be something similar to how people die within the ocean their souls or corpses wander the deep in search of prey or they simply wander and gain a type of behavior similar to their final moments of life. When some of the raft members end up dying I suspect they may have became undead entities who live in the ocean which may be an explanation for the creature who was observing the events that took place on the raft. Almost as if the creature itself was drawn to the survivors by instinct or because it knew they would have a similar fate that brought it to where it is now. But to be honest those people could have successfully survived the plane crash if they thought more logically. Instead they spent most of their time arguing, catching fish, sitting around meaninglessly and devouring one and other. They had many different options such as choosing a direction and using a piece of debree or even their own arms as paddles to move faster. All that time spent sleeping and waiting for the raft to drift onto land may have been the main cause of their starvation. One of them could have even swam down into the water and caught some seaweed to eat. That way they would at least have a decent food source for some amount of time. The same thing could be done again by swimming down into the water and using some solid object like coral as a paddle. The survivors could have even used the wind or stars as a way of finding direction. And if their chances were decent enough they could have caught a fish with their bare hands while swimming. It is possible they were on that raft for more than just a few weeks and during that time they could have passed whole schools of fish and other sea creatures. In such an event they could have easily swam down and caught buckets worth of fish with their bare hands. And if the legends of the wendigo are true the raft survivors who committed cannibalism would not become ocean wandering undead instead they would become wendigos. But either way the survivors of that raft and plane crash had many ways of easily surviving longer if they slept less and attempted to think of a way to keep themselves alive longer. And dripping their own blood would have only endangered them. The raft was mentioned to be filled with blood which should have lured multiple sharks or carnivorous sea creatures. But I am more interested in that strange creature that observed them instead of their own chances of survival. I find paranormal, supernatural and cryptic creatures very intriguing. In fact I am so obsessed with unnatural things I have developed a very strong urge to fight a werewolf in hand to hand combat. Which is both dangerous in terms of common sense but fun in my own opinion.
Oo interesting! Or it's an ocean Wendigo. Maybe you become a mermaid if you eat someone. I assumed it was a mermaid and that's why they weren't catching fish. The mermaid was eating them anytime it came close. But I think you are right and it's some type of undead because it mentioned in the second entry that the coloring of Norma's dead body reminded her of the creature watching them. Your supposed to take a rock with you when you get lost at sea so you can fry the parts of the first to die on the hot rock. There is also a way to absorb sea water safely but i wont mention how.
