Great Video! Forgive me for chiming in, I would love your initial thoughts. Have you considered - Dinanlinson Building Athlete Approach (erm, check it on google should be there)? It is a great one of a kind guide for getting fit by mastering short burst interval training without the normal expense. Ive heard some amazing things about it and my BF at very last got amazing results with it.
Thank you so much guys..... I was really worries about selecting a topic for my 12th board practicals.... And here it is I found the best... And thank you for completing my practical assignment!!!.....
and that's it for my Biology investigative project.... May the good Lord bless you .edit: how long does it take for the gelatin to visibly dissolve? I'm wondering if the video was sped up at that part
Here’s a question for you: does the enzyme break the Collagen into the peptides, as the collagen peptides that one can buy, or does it break them into individual amino acids? Would love to know!
its a great experiment, i want it to use it for my students now in the quarantine, do you think you could measure the protease activity by calculating the cm of the gelatine digested vs the minutes they take to be digested or something like that?? or is it take longer than minutes to observe the proteolysis? and maybe using different concentration of grenetin (Sustrate)?
I took proteolytic Enzymes along with bromelin and noticed that my collagen was broken down. My face started sagging and got deflated. I also got varicose veins. I feel like it is a double edge sword it helps break down bad things but breaks down the good stuff also.
two questions: will the liquid gelatin return back to its solidified state after a certain amount of time? how long was the timelapse? thanks so much!!
+Parth Joshi You could take samples of water from different sources and see if you can see anything living in it. You could grow some bacteria and see what they look like. There are tons of things to see with a microscope.
If you scratch the inner side of your cheek with a cotton swab and then spread it on the slide, you can be able to see epithelial cells... Or try to get a sample from betwen your toes after a hard excersice day... could be surprising what you find... :) Enjoy your microscope... Greetings from México!
Does the heat breakdown the bromelain or was it drawn out into the water? Have you tried adding the water to the surface of the gelatin to see how it reacts?
All I know is I’ve made my own jello with powdered gelatin and canned pineapple juice and it made jello. I was doing this for the bromelain banefits along with gelatin benefits. BUT I just did the same process with REAT pineapple and it will not become jello- just liquid. Bromelain is good for my eyes which is the whole point of doing this
it would have been interesting to see if stomach acid will also denature bromelain Oo this would provide valuable information, as to how effective pineapple would be as a aid in digestion. from this experiment, we can conclude that adding pineapple to proteins BEFORE eating them would make them more manageable. but if we ate pineapple with a meal - would it still be active ?: )
It doesn't. Bromelain has even been shown, perhaps surprisingly, to be adsorbed into the bloodstream intact upon oral supplementation while retaining enzymatic potency (Castell, 1997). This initially may seem improbable, yet it does makes sense when considering pepsin - an endogenous proteolytic enzyme secreted into the stomach which must remain active in acidic pH. Bromelain in similar to pepsin & trypsin in that it's likewise a proteolytic enzyme stable at low pH. As such, it could be reasonable to suppose that it would have a secondary & tertiary structures inherently resistant to proteolysis by other molecules of bromelain and other proteolytic enzymes by extension. If this were not the case, the proteolytic enzymes would quickly destroy eachother thereby obviating their very purpose. Obviously this does not occur, however, as bromelain digests gelatin in preference to itself. The natural function of bromelain appears to be twofold: It seems to be an evolutionary remnant of related bromelaids which digest trapped insects inside their leaf rosette, yet it could also break down leaves and insects on the ground thereby releasing amino acids for root uptake.
I tried this and I was unable to get either gelatin sample to break down. I'm wondering if the pineapple maybe experience too harsh of temperatures on the way to the grocery store. I'm sure it could be over 100 degrees on a shipping truck here in VA in the summertime.
Dear sir pls upload video regarding making edible oils soulble in water, in simple way fr agriculture use like soil application , or foluar spray fr plants
if the pineapples were heated in different time lengths like pineapple A will be only heated in 30seconds, B in 60, C in 90, D in120, how will the reaction be different in the gelatin per each pineapple
Why didn't you mix the gelatin with a small amount of cold water first and allow it a minute to bloom? When gelatin is mixed directly with hot water it tends to form lumps that are nearly impossible to mix into the water.
I wanted to make a jelly out of pineapple smoothie, and I knew all this so I boiled it, but the gelatin got digested anyway :(. Trying to boil it all again, for a longer time, and adding new gelatin, hopefully it works...
+The Sci Guys. OK thanks! Next time, make a homemade lava lamp. Also try using alka seltzer, salt baking soda and dry ice to see which one bubbles the lamp the most.
I wasted my pineapples and gelatin before googling your youtube. Can I still drink non setting soup? I mix fresh blueberries and all fresh juices. This is the first time I added pineapples. I want to get collagen of gelatin and bromelain from pineapple. Does it mean I must eat them separately?
+Daiyan Mahfuz I think you had suggested this earlier and I had replied to your comment saying that all of the liquids except the thicker syrups just bubbled. The syrups got so thick that a few solidified.
Hey guys can you do an experiment with papain and bromalein to see which enzyme breaks down gelatin faster? It'll be good to see which enzyme is more powerful
Guys, you have the wrong video description on this. ..... Welcome to science at home in this experiment we are exploring what happens when steel wool comes in contact with vinegar.
Just so you all know, after the steel wool is oxidized with the vinegar and turn black - leave it about a week - that black liquid can then be use as a real good penetrating dye to dye your leather items (shoes, wallets, purses, belts, wood, etc.).
The image of the water molecules is not accurate. Using the CPK molecule coloring scheme, the central oxygen should be RED and the hydrogens should be WHITE.
Enzymes are a catalyst for protein breakup in our system. It helps us digest better, but it should be done separate from food, maybe as a snack, it also helps your immune system to stay strong and also you will be skinny and healthy, with beautiful healthy skin, especially from the Papaya.
Thank You for doing my assignment =)
Legit. My brother and I just botched this and I’m watching this because he won’t respect anything I say.
same lol
I think it's so funny how they have like no emotions😂
That's "science"
Honestly watching this high is the trippiest thing ever
at least they aint sounding like morgz

why would you
Bro you just did my entire assignment thanks
Thank you so much guys..... I was really worries about selecting a topic for my 12th board practicals.... And here it is I found the best... And thank you for completing my practical assignment!!!.....
How long does it take for the gelatin to become semi solid? And whats the total duration for the gelatin to fully sets?
I would love to see more videos about enzymes! Enzymatic bio-chemical cleaning is super interesting and I want to know how they work.
I had to come right back here to say that I really love this video... You guys are geniuses
and that's it for my Biology investigative project.... May the good Lord bless you
.edit: how long does it take for the gelatin to visibly dissolve? I'm wondering if the video was sped up at that part
@Titus Kalksma how much would u say was dissolved in those 6 hours?
Here’s a question for you: does the enzyme break the Collagen into the peptides, as the collagen peptides that one can buy, or does it break them into individual amino acids? Would love to know!
They said it breaks them into smaller proteins so it doesn't break them into individual amino acids, of course I stand to be corrected.
Both the Bromelain and pineapple are good for joint inflammation
GREAT BREAKDOWN! I just understood how marinating meat is more tender! Thank you!
I think your explanation are very good work
I wonder how long dose it take for this experiment??

what's a good hypothesis for this experiment?
pov: when you have the wrong description XD, its ok good job guys
That you for saving my botched science project (I have no idea what I’m doing)
So exactly how does this help us? How do we use this info in the real world?
Valarie Knight this video helps in dessert making... Plus a question in a Cxc exam was on this... That's a very important exam
Literally meat tenderizing like mentioned in the video
I found this useful for nutritional supplement information. This video is useful, you are useless.
Thank you for this experiment. It was very informative

😢
Is it possible to calculate the initial reaction rate (Vo) of Bromelain enzymatic reaction using this methodology?
Thank you!!! We needed a lab on pinapple and gelatin fruit enzyme 🤗🤗🤗
tysm for this! my teacher made us do a lab abt bromelain enzymes so this rlly helped me w doing my data and error analysis section :)
how long was the time lapse
How long does it take to break down?
How long do you let the gelatin liquifes when you put the pineapple on the top of the surface?
two questions:
will the liquid gelatin return back to its solidified state after a certain amount of time?
how long was the timelapse?
thanks so much!!
I'd like to know about the timelapse too
You mean post-pineaple? Nope. There's no gelatin left, just short chain proteins that don't have the properties of gelatin (colagen).
i got a new microscope this week
can u pls tell me things that I could see on it
I have seen cheek cells n onion cells

nerd
thanks it was a great information for my science class activity
Thanks you guys helped out with my lab 🥰
So is it better for joints after the breakdown??
Can you PLEASE PLEASE make a video on homemade generator
thanks this was a nice video.but could you make a video about the mimosa pudica please it would be very nice
+Khali Garrett Isn't that a creeping plant? What type of experiment would you want us to do with that?
Where can I get the full report of this?

Fantastic man....could pls put a video on extracting enzymes from a pieze of beef ??
Can you make a video on electrical resistance?
Do enzymes have a finite amount of times they work?
How long was the timelapse??
id like to know as well!

@@travis5125 wow interesting
How would you collect quantitative data for such an experiment? Do you guys know?
Wow I love all of your videos
I just found Sheldon and Amy IRL 💀💀 that's sick
How long did you leave the pineapple in there
Thanks Sci Guys!!!
+RJ Hizzlo You're welcome!!
Can you explain like more on the reason why do they eat us back?
Is there a way to test if pepsin in the blood.
I tried this and I was unable to get either gelatin sample to break down. I'm wondering if the pineapple maybe experience too harsh of temperatures on the way to the grocery store. I'm sure it could be over 100 degrees on a shipping truck here in VA in the summertime.
@The Sci Guys - I think your description belongs to another video (steel wool and vinegar)
great explanation
what is the dependent variable
Thank you soooooooo much! You been so much help to understand pineapple🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
excellent video!!!!! thanks!!!
how long does it usually take for the fresh pineapple to liquify the gelatin? please reply asap!
Karolina Lutrzy few minutes
enzyme lose in heat or not

You just saved me from going to summer school
Thank you!
What is the reason why fresh pineapple react with gelatin compared to the cooked pineapple, (reply me ) asap please

Just seeing video.. How to use bio enzymes to wash the cloths???
+The Sci Guys. OK thanks! Next time, make a homemade lava lamp. Also try using alka seltzer, salt baking soda and dry ice to see which one bubbles the lamp the most.
May i know how to separate this enzyme
Can u do it without gelatin
I would like to know too. You can use meat to make it softer but I would like to do it with some plant protein. Can anyone help?
This was interesting.. would it be helpful to ferment say.. gluten with pineapple before eating?
But what kind of meal would you use pineaple soaked wheat or flour for..?
Goodd experimet lads
Thank you!!!!!!!!! 💗💗💗

Nice👍 can you show some physics next??
+Ronan Danial Mohd Hafiz any physics experiments in particular
What if you use 95% of alcohol will it form white precipitation and still soluble to water after denaturation?
this for my biology class
+The Sci Guys Make a vid where you put pieces of dry ice in different types of liquids.
Such as honey, vegetable oil, etc.
Papain comes from papaya
Guys, you have the wrong video description on this. ..... Welcome to science at home in this experiment we are exploring what happens when steel wool comes in contact with vinegar.
What can be used instead of gelatine or meat? I'd like to avoid using animal products? I'll be grateful if anyone has any ideas!
Agar maybe
@@Indy_alex No, because agar is a polysaccharide.
Flaxseed
I need this for my science project ( homemade generator) please guys
+Shantanu Kaushik that would probably be a bigger build. If we can get more funding on patreon then we can consider larger builds.
Is pineapple degrades plastics

u are giving them idies
should I eat pineapple over meat to digest the meat or how? Thank you for the video
Your stomach does that already that’s why we can even eat meat
Now I know why my pineapple cheese cake liquefied.
can you synthetically make one in practical ways or pineapples is the only way you can get it .
What about boiled pineapple vs raw pineapple reaction
sheeeesh look at them fingerprints on that microwace
Pay respects for that "Pineapple" who let us use its flesh.
Let's talk about food. Does a gelatin dessert with pineapple taste better than gelatin dessert without pineapple?
Enzyme denatures when it meets extreme temperatures
The image of the water molecules is not accurate. Using the CPK molecule coloring scheme, the central oxygen should be RED and the hydrogens should be WHITE.
What about frozen pineapple?
No entiendo porque me encargan hacer esto para semana santa...
Is it ok if the pineapple is spoiled?
Lol I doubt it😂I love your sponge bob fish picture 😂👌
enzymes will break apart and liquidafy food so it is easy to digest in the body.

The footnotes about steel wool still havent been broken down, maybe it takes more time....
I'd like to see some good sugar enzyme experiments. Thanks
I added fresh pineapple in my cranberry sauce, It didn't set up. Can I eat this? Can I use this "sauce on Pound Cake?
Ragnar I love you!
