I'm currently reading this book and it is wonderful! It's literally sitting beside me right now with a highlighter.

Any idea how hurtful it is to keep making jokes how wonderful it is to have a big family! Was looking for something to learn for my small family on earth with multiple kids no longer on earth. But can't get past this introduction stuff.

I’m sorry that it was triggering for you, but I’m sure that their intentions were not to make fun of people with smaller families. With that said, I totally understand triggers. I’m sorry for your losses and I hope that the peace of Jesus will comfort you. ❤

So sorry for your loss, but I’m sure the hosts were not trying to belittle you or anyone else who has a smaller family. In fact, they probably don’t even know you and have no ill will to you. Bless you as you navigate this life.

@@amandaparrish9128 no ill will, sure, but dumb and hurtful remarks should not be tolerated. Certainly not amongst christians.

That wasn't their intent at all. They were just stating a fact that it's nice to see people who can and are able to have large families, especially when society is against all of it. I'm sure it takes alot to raise a lot of kids compared to just two, which is how many I have.
