I would go and say that every album was a part of a journey. PMAY was a very young album full of life and life and energy. But as life it could go a little slower at points In Rolling Waves was a little more dark and bittersweet and felt like the world hit us. “To Move With Purpose” and “What We Want” I still think are really timeless. Simple Forms felt like an end of something big but with every end there is a new begining. A Still Heart is a different look at all great songs with amazing cover of Teardrop. And Recover is the healing process after the sadness from Simple Forms And now we are here with your first solo single that feels like the next step after Recover. Or it continues the journey there. And once again, I love it. Your music once saved my life Alisa. I was once in a dark place and then your music helped me see and recover as well. Thank you for that and want to see your journey continue as well. I will be there, ready to listen. 🙂

I just. the scenes with you wearing headphones is me whenever it plays.....it's so good, You are so talented. it gives me road trip feels. My favourite track of all time. I had the pleasure of hearing the acoustic version first. It really shows the depth of the song and vocal range much better. The poppy background of the original hides all that is good. Lyrics, vocals, the entire thing is lost in a dreamy “sounds like anyone” playing on a mall radio. So glad I could hear the talent and appreciate the lyrics acoustically. Keep the real music, drop the bs.
