Luke in the show was really nice!! I feel like the screen time between percy and luke has really made me like luke, at first the bond percy and luke had almost made me forget that luke is the villain lol. But this change was good. it made me care for him and making luke recruit percy instead just waiting to kill him like the books was such a good change it just shows that luke probably wanted to recruit percy cause he mentioned some sort of dislike to the gods adding ao much tension between them...but i also eish they highlighted maybe luke and annabeths bond too... But i think we will see more of that in the upcoming seasons so no problem on that.
Its honest refreshing that adoptation doesn’t try to do everything according to the books. It isn’t perfect but makes you view the series in a different light while still sticking to the story enough that it carries the spirit. I hope the new harry potter tv show takes the same route.
Hii, there! I agree with you :)))) Seeing Rick give another take on its books is pretty cool especially since it still sticks with the source material while tweaking things up. Thanks for sharing your thoughts! ❤️
I think making Luke want to recruit Percy instead of killing him was a genius change! It made much more sense. when reading the books, I never understood why Luke would decide to kill Percy so suddenly because he only found out Percy was a son of Poseidon after his claiming, and he seemed really friendly before the whole betrayal thing. So I really don't get how he switched up so suddenly after Percy got claimed. And making Luke more complexed as a character really adds on to his character and honestly makes me more hyped for what'll happen in the next season
Exactly! It's probably the same reason why the show cut off the hellhound scene after Percy was claimed. And yess- these changes to Luke makes me so hyped up for Season 2. Thanks for sharing your thoughts! :)))
@@YceSy Thank you for making this character analysis! It really opened my eyes to certain things I missed and was well-made! I'm excited for any more to come!
Hii, there! I get you on that- Will's description is pretty much how Walker looks like and even the viria fan art of Will has the same green flannel as Percy's in the show. Like- I'm not sure if that's intentional or accidental by Rick- lol
@@YceSy i kinda got over it when someone pointed out that walker looks like he could possiblely be book percy and annabeth kid. Now that has been living rent free in my mind and just imagine the series as percabeth kid reenacting his parents adventure
@franziskasanders3943 that is a good point- I just thought that the winged shoes was for Percy to go to Tartarus to die but delivering the bolt to Kronos is a good reason.

I just wish the writing, the cinematography, the action and the suspense could have been better as well.

Aww thank you too for appreciating my video :)))
The way show percy looks like ii reminds me of Will Solace

@satan3862 omg- that's actually a really good idea. I didn't see it that way before- thanks for sharing! ❤️
Great video, consider getting a pop filter in the future!
Thanks for liking my video! :))))
This creates a plot hole tho, why’d Luke give Percy the winged shoes
Wow- that's actually a good point that I overlooked- thanks for sharing!
Wasn't that because in the underworld Percy had the Bolt in his backpack from Ares so dragging him to Tarterus would get the Bolt to Kronos.
