via exiftool? Sure, but only if the photo is updated to a site that doesnt scrape metadata off (most social media sites do) And if you mean by just doing OSINT investigation - it's possible. Depends on the photo
Any image that has the location metadata. If you listened - in the video i mentioned that facebook (for example, or instagram or so) removes the metadata. Meaning on some websites (that either dont scrape the metadata or leave the pictures in default format) you will be able to get pictures with location information. :) Thanks for watching, and asking a question. Sadly most pictures today (on the internet) get their metadata scraped.
HELLO, congratulations on the video and explanation, but I personally have 3 days dealing with the location of a photo, but unfortunately I can not find the location, although I have tried all the options explained in your video, can anyone give me any ideas please? I just want to know the location of this photo, thank you who can help me
Hi ! Good thing you reached out : as i said in the video most social media sites strip the metadata off the images ! This is important to keep in mind - maybe your picture does not even have metadata attached to it (i mean the location metadata) - thats most likely the reason Hope i helped
@@HoxFramework thanks for the answer, only this data can I get, but anyway I can not even get the type of camera that this photo was taken, for this I am more surprised, if the metadata is off this has to do only with gps or type of the camera that the photo was taken? @@ajgaming8182 You have to watch the whole video - some pictures dont have GPS information Especially ones from famous social media like Insta, fb or so - they wipe metadata ive mentioned all of that in the video
@Nikto Ne Nuzhen You dont turn on GPS, you have to turn on the ability of phone saving location metadata for your pictures - thats how it saves it. Also, telegram might also delete metadata off pictures - so instead just put your pics in a zip file or similar and upload it to free upload services. After that it should work perfectly
How about the photo from indoor, is there any other way how to track the location?
via exiftool?

This way, you can extract the location of any image???
