Having Your Baby at Stamford Hospital

I was born at St. Joe’s but my mother worked at Stamford Hospital in the 50’s.

I had my baby there.. it bothered me that because I had no insurance I never got to know who would deliver my daughter.. I was unable to choose who I would feel comfortable with. I was just given the attending on roatation on duty. I found the entire experience very cold and impersonal..
