Gurudra! Well said! Since we go for "no slaves, no masters" except of course, to 'master' our Selves..., here's a 'tip' from The Good Book, 2nd Corinthians, chapter ten, that we can use to master our own minds:
"For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled."
With this sort of knowledge, we Can 'free our minds', and the rest of our selves Will follow. Be Free, brother; that's how we're meant to be!

I made my own some months ago...but of a longer existing timespan...descent herritage...sort of speak... i like U "humanity" to share u my fhilosophie ,pls grattitude the name, he soon will not be among us,in dutch its a rime (my born language)but i need to connect with the world and my english "deep" words are not intelligent enough too rime in Understanding... it goes like ..."litteraly translated "without rime in english "a man hes being will forever be a battle ,between the animal we sproud out of,and to were we must be...untill it is but a memory..of what we no longer can be"... Does thought/mind create everything or does soul create everything? Just my personal opinion I think the mind is like a two edged sword. Like I saw in one of the comments the mind can be a great servant or tool but a tortuous master. The mind is part of the worlds of opposites , black white , positive negative therefore there can be many variances in application and effect. Just one being the karma an individual soul might be working through. This is one reason trying to manifest our reality using the mind isn't as easy as a lot of people make out. Trying to manifest our goals via the mind is a natural part of what we all do. We also use the emotions adding emotion to the mind technique is like adding fuel to the fire good or bad. we also use our physical capabilities in unison as well. My point being use the techniques but also be detached with the outcome. Divine spirit or the living universe might have a different set of circumstances out there for the individual to learn. Hence the working off of karmic situations. Using techniques like this is good. Its better to be cause than just the effect or reaction to things that happen in our lives. Sorry for the rant just my 2 cents worth.
