*Fabulous!* My first time watching one of your tutorials. You are a *natural teacher.* Seriously. You are well spoken, you enunciate every word, & you make a point to show every detail, as well as, explaining, WHY. Oh,....you have a very pleasant voice, too. Love this and have started a recipe booklet for my step daughter who lost her mother to a long battle with cancer a few years back. Long story short...we moved...I found hand written recipes by her mom in some cooking stuff that her dad, my husband had. I am going to use them along with some other family recipes. The last envelope I am going to label as "extra spice" and share just a couple of my fun kid recipes for her to make with our granddaughters. Your idea was genius and love your channel. God Bless.

Every year I'll make a new page for their books. this way their books can grow with them. started last night late. already about halfway done. How adorable...I have a nephew getting married, this might also be a cute thing to do for their early years, adding a new section for each child or home or job. Might have to make new books for some but still could be done.
This would be awesome for a bridal shower! The guests could write down their favorite recipes and then the MOH could make one of these for the Bride!

You are the best Happy Hollidays I did your recipe stand up book had trouble getting the right magnets had to improvise get smaller and thicker ones added sponge blocks to add decoration to camouflage it lolLoved yours so did my grandkids grandmarogers

I love your tutorials. I'm just a beginner. What tools do I need to begin with? I don't want to look too ametuerish. You've mentioned a crop-a-dial and a corner rounder. I have a paper cutter, need a scorer.

I think I would make tags that can be pulled out with the shopping list for the dish we are making so you don't forget that one ingredient that is always forgotten. 😀

I just came across this video a couple days ago. I have one started. I think I may try making the back piece of chipboard the full length of the envelope. Then the back would be "supported". I'll try and let you know.

i did something similar for Christmas. it was for holding gift cards. My parents want gift cards for Chrustmas do they get a lot. this way all the gift cards are together. My mother loved it and showed all her friends.

The only thing I might do different is grommet the holes. im awful a breaking/ripping holes! otherwise LOVE it!

Hi there! I can't find chipboard...where do you all get it?
Most craft stores carry it.. both online and in the brick and mortar shops. Sometimes it may be difficult to locate in the store but the sales people will be able to help you with that. In a pinch though, you can use cereal boxes or other packaging from things you have already purchased... If it is thinner than you like, you can stack and glue layers until the desired thickness has been achieved. Hope this helps... good luck!! :)
Hobby Lobby is the only store I've been to that has it. Of course Amazon had it...
