America is so fucking huge. The UK scene right now is pretty solid but our country is so much smaller, it makes a big difference. Big up UKBC Facebook group too for bringing bladers together and helping to make those connections.
Amazing podcast I'm so hyped you guys made this a reality. There was some audio issues later in? other then that it was perfect Look forward to the next one
Random funny you asked a question from the homie Gene Galang!! So much respect to Billy and Austin for doing this. You both seem to have a natural way around this already to where hitting any snags doesnt seem like a snag cause ya'll move with it. keep it going and keep that way about you cause it works. To the Kelso brothers and what they've done and the marks they've made....thank you both! Theres very few people like you two now days and it seems that way of being is going away faster and faster. Followed you guys since just before the Heart video came out and throughout the years we've spoken directly a few times here and there. You were both the most down to earth genuine people even during some crazy times which made it even easier to respect and support whatever ya'll were involved in. Every video release or section you guys never disappointed. You both are remarkably talented at way more than just skating and I appreciate the fact that you guys have stuck around and kept coming back with more after years of work put in with all the ups and downs. Thats whats up.
This is great guys. Keep it up. Love the fakie look back segment. As a skate nerd I love hearing the stories behind the spot, or the day, or the stuff someone else was working on that same day. Maybe pause the video next time when the dudes are talking so you don't blow through the section when there is interesting stuff to see. Like when Billy missed the Tru Zoo to inspin sweaty transfer. Can't wait for the next one and watching this develop. Having guests in person is awesome too!
i did my best to adjust the levels but we're all still getting used to mic etiquette so a lot of the times ck is far from his mic and I'm really close so I tried leveling it out the best i could. its also hard for me to check levels throughout the show when Im involved so we're still working on someone to help us with that. appreciate the feedback!
i just scrubbed through the episode and noticed some crazy audio drops that i def didnt put in there. no idea what happened but gotta make sure this doesnt happen in future episodes.
Thanks for making it easy and putting words to everything, they are taking a big step forward for today and tomorrow in our community. They have always inspired me and I leave here a reflection on our status quo. (First of all sorry about my english) Thanks to the four, Sean, Colin, Billie & Austin, always inspiring, to share their time and philosophy, sharing is our strength. Our community is minority but without complexes, it is global and we are all connected, few sports enjoy that and ours is much more than a sport, it is an authentic lifestyle that survives the apocalypse and gets stronger every time, we must leave of comparing ourselves, we should not resemble other similar scenes, because what leads people to those, although it is only subtly different from what led us, many have rotted the soul. Our sport can be cataloged as a type of art in itself, by how all the questions that define it are formulated, the people who arrived at it, how we arrived, how we skate as they say here, often alone and surrounded by disciplines that point with their finger, how is our industry, how is our cohesion and strength that has what moves us to continue each day, as well as the diversity of people who share the scene and how we relate, each person represents their essence using skates as an art language. We are the first generation that becomes adult and demonstrates to itself that we want to continue skating, that story does not end in adolescence and that it contributes even more when we are older, now we see how many positive values the people in whom we have become through this. Raudel Mesa, blading and following you since 2000, from our growing community Canary Bladers, if you want you can follow us on Instagram as @canarybladers and of course come and blade. Thanks and a big hug sharing motivation day by day.
If thiers someone who didn’t know what aggressive inline skating was I’d tell em to search the Kelso bros. These guys are an absolute asset to the sport
Really enjoyed this one, keep up the great work guys! Especially loved hearing the stories behind the tricks in Opinions! And congrats to the Kelso bros on Bacemint! 👍
wow! the podcast is great! subtitles would be a good option. you can even let the users translate it to the different language. would be cool! The whole idea and the technical side are top! and the feel of the converstion is really relaxing. you bring a lot of memories. it seems that rollerblading's got a big history now.
Dude silver Majestics were definitely a thing! Those were the first aggressive skates I ever saw...back in like 2000. My buddy had em and put a puffy tongue in them w/ some yellow laces. Looked sick. Weren't they called the Khuti?
Great incite from some of the best skaters. Its cool to see how much they've changed just in the past 4 years. To their point about bullying back in the day, I think rollerblading has gotten more inclusive in part cause of the internet as well. It gives us a chance to see all the great things happening in the scene and a chance to make connections with each other, essentially helping us get each other's backs. There aren't many people blading so when someone insults one of us they insult all of us lol
Sean, you should take pictures of each skate from your collection and post it on bacemint site. It would be interesting to see!
that latimer story was so good. added to his mythology as a blade legend.
I love colins landings, they look really zen with that "waiter arm"

Nice work gents! There were a few audio problems fading in/out , not sure whether it was on purpose. Looking forward to more content.
