Bro, you come up with the most helpful videos. I’m no barber but I cut mine and my son’s hair at home. So I want to say thank you for making educational videos!
Best blades for me is the is the bablyliss OEM blade, babyliss taper blade, and oster fast feed blade. Good all around wahl fade, jrl vapor and andis taper blade. (Don’t last long) Every other blade either pulls or snags the skin, or just doesn’t as I like no matter how it’s adjusted.
In my experience with them all, the caper blade set is less forgiving when fading. Super intentional with how it cuts. Works different depending on the hair type
you dont have to if you like the cutting blade on it ..and some cutting blades when you change them might make the clipper sound different...only way to really know is to try to see if you like it or not ..
Rad content my guy, i love that babyliss blue blade. I use it on my Tpob goblins. It’s my go to for detailed fading. What are your thoughts on the wedge blade and the blade that comes on the TPOB Play? Respectfully
Thanks for the video. Your videos are awesome. No disrespect, but the music is very distracting, not only on your videos but on all barber tutorial videos.
The black wedge blade goes through bulk just as good as any blade up there, plus it’s fades cleaner and closer, so I don’t understand why it’s not used as much. And it naturally lays flat on the scalp when blending and detailing. Most barbers think fade blades are the way to go when fading but don’t hold the blade flush to the scalp, instead they use the blade at a 45 degree angle which is wrong.
Switching the blades out to ceramic does not make the blade move faster. I tested this out with two corded fast feed clippers. I used the RPM app, Giri. Both machines ran at 3633.7 rpms. Unless I’m incorrect, I think the machine is capped at that rpm speed which would make the blade move at the same speed.
i have that rpm tester as well ...however it doesn't detect 100% accurate but its close ...and for me ive used it on masters and fast feeds ..i feel it move faster however i like the steel better...but most that use ceramic will probably say the same that it can move faster
Depends on the motor type and clipper. It certainly does increase speeds on many setups. I always do before and after RPM tests when modifying clippers. Will never slow it down, but high chance to improve speeds slightly by around 5-10 percent in many of my test findings. Poor RPM apps don’t do the job. You need to buy an actual rpm laser tester to see it properly
I use fast feed at work with a ceramic blade. I don’t think the blade moves quicker. It might be smoother and stay cooler longer. after using the rpm app and watching the blade move, I still believe that particular machine is tuned and set at a certain rpm speed. Nothing will make the blade move faster, and if it does, it’s negligible. I think this myth came out of it moving faster back in the day before all these cheap rpm apps were available on phones. I’m going to call this one debunked.
@@joshuasuarez2370 it may increase the speed on other machines (vector motor) but on the fast feed it does not. I haven’t tested other clippers with ceramic blades to confirm or not.
@@ConcisetheBarber I put the fusion blade on my VGR v003....it has a nice crunch on the low speed 7000 rpms .....high speed 8-9000.......blades definitely are the difference

Thank you for being part of the concise family
Video so good I need to watch it again to really absorb the valuable information right now I use the jrl fade blade and I really love it
Dope Mike glad you like it
Appreciate this content Og🙏🏽

Dope line up
That stylecraft bottom blade with the faper blade works great for sculpting Afros. It doesn’t push the hair while cutting.
yea probably best for that...but thats it ...other cutting blades cut everything else better
Thank you for the Detailed video! Blessings!

True also depends on the barbers how they use it
Dope vid gonna help me out a bunch thanks
You are very welcome.
Thx u for sharing very informative 👍
You’re welcome
Much needed🔥💈👑
Glad you enjoyed the video
Right to the point 🤙🏽
Thank you
I use a ceramic on my fast feed. Love that…
yea man dope combo
They do make ceramic stagger blades and i put cermic on my corded masters and yes it stays cooler longer.
Faper blade on magic clip! Crazy great vid
Thank you 🙏🏾… glad you liked the vid
@@akronrc2827 Imma try the faper blade with the FF cutter on my MC
GOAT Blades would be the stagertooth blade on the magic clip, Taper blade on the andis masters, Faper Blade from SC and Fade blade from JRL.
Mim has extra oil reservoirs so u gotta over oil them and they wont get hot
This vid needs an update with wahls Vapor blade. Interesting to me is that vapor rhymes with "faper", and I think it's their take on a faper blade.
great idea
i only still keep my magic clips for the staggertooth. once JRL makes a staggertooth blade, the magic clips are out of my station
That’s would be interesting
The f1 is a mix of the fast feed blade and the master fade blade, not the master taper blade. Gives you the closeness of the fade blade.
Question when you change blades from different clippers do you have to change the cutting blade as well?

You forgot about the wahl taper blade...1006
It really .. it’s a taper blade so I talked about that blade .. many companies have taper blades just showing the true differences to blades period

Most hated Wedge blade is missing my guy!!😆
lol true..its definitely not one of the most used...that a specialty blade same at the surgical blade
I love that blade.i Didn't at 1st.untill iI learned to cut with it
Crazy thing is it's 1 of my favorite blades.

Got a link and code to buy them black fast feed blades and ceramic cutting blade?
Which blade would he best for bread? I like no clip all the way to the top
what do you mean by no clip?
If I need one good caliper just for styling the beard, do you recommend whal Magic Clip Gold ?
That’s not a bad one to pick plus its good pricing and I also have a discount with wahl at their direct site (concise15)
Nice!
Thanks!
Faper or taper blade with magic staggered cutting blade even more forgiving?
Taper blade is more forgiving.
🔥🔥🔥
Appreciate it
Which trimmer for beard design and lines do you recommend, Babyliss Gold fx or saber?
Both are good really preference with that comparison
Do they both come with a dock ? Battery life etc etc .. like that time of stuff .. but performance is very comparable
@@ConcisetheBarber thanks man
Will the stagger tooth Wahl cutting blade fit on the babyliss lopro fx with the MIM blade or the TPOB Play??
yes it should fit on the lopro
What clippers will the Wahl stagger tooth blade fit on???
its a good amount ..say the name of them and i can let you know

There's a blue mim blade with 27 teeth. You should review that one
Yea I would like to try that one
Babyliss loves over releasing jeez... the 27 tooth doesn't come on the loprofxone I'm assuming?

The digital gap stuff is a sham
So the cocco now has sc cutting blades and the faper blade doesn't come with that cutter that is the suprent cutter blade
ive been told that they upgraded the cutting blade so if you get a cocco blade now it might be different
