I installed my Idoing about a year ago. Head unit is easy to install, i play my music off of a USB stick attached to one of the USB cords they provide. Downloading the car link app on the head unit also provides andriod audio from phone and apple car play features for maps and bluetooth. Iv yet to install my back up camera, maybe ill continue holding off if it didnt work for you. Or ill test it at the head unit before running everything to the trunk. I did have to buy an adapter to get my sub to work correctly.
Easy install overall, we were able to get sub to fire up no problem. The unit with a little patience to optimize its function is actually a really nice piece. Im personally just an old purist when it comes to head units. But i do appreciate the technology and the gps is actually really good on it!

@@TheSubieSanctuary make sure to transfer the little white clips from the original double din faceplate also, it will help keep the idoing in place.
So you didn’t think to connect to Apple car play to play music?
