That bag search was not done by the books at all. They just took them and started searching. They didn't say why you were detained or why your bags were being searched before they got their little snouts in them.

If a lady is victimized and she has no husband/bf, father, brothers, or any males to get payback then I suppose the legal route would be a good idea. 2. A search for missing people. Other than that, there really is no need for them when it comes down to it. They rarely ever stop a crime while its in progress. They get there after the fact. Settling disputes could be as easy as a good old fashioned fist fight, afterwards shaking hands. Police and the courts only bring complications for everyone. In the Old West lynch mobs were the real justice and I say bring it all back, public hangings and all.

Christ UK police are so nice and accommodating. And so many UK commenters saying even this is rude? When I was arrested for trespassing on a construction site in the US I had firearms pointed at me, I was tackled and held to the ground, handcuffed, yelled at like I was there to burn the place down, then thrown in holding for 24 hours. Trespassing is a civil matter not criminal and it's wrong to be cuffed if not criminal offence has been commited,if i were the land owner and no damage was being caused i would simply ask them to seek permission next time! i wouldn't of been so civil!
This was literally a week ago today, me and a few friends went into these abandoned flats and we got caught and all they done was take our name and address and then let us go, but for some reason they took my friend home? He was the one who told them the most and he got taken home? Why's that?

Surprisingly - if you offer to share the footage with the owner, and sign a waiver of injury/risk, most of them will allow you to film the property. I have done many houses in Massachusetts this way. (Just saying..)

My guess is the owner probably inherited a lot of money. Used that money to buy that abandoned house in hopes of fixing it up and selling it for 20 times the amount he paid. Then found out it was beyond repair. And is now desperately trying to sell it and cant find a buyer. So has a stick up his arse about protecting it.... But there was no need to act the way he did. It's not like you were there wreaking the place, vandalising it or trying to burn it down. You were being understanding to him. Yet he bites your head off. Oh well. You should of reported the owner for assault and detaining you against your will. You had both offences on video. Ok the charges wouldn't go anywhere but it would have been him who had you arrested. You could have in turn had the owner arrested, he may have changed his mind at that point and you could have gone about your day.

If someone got into my house, took pictures (preferably nothing private), then left without breaking or taking anything, I would buy them a bloody drink.

It's a beautiful house pity no one really cares about it, it would be nice to see it getting done up repaired and lived in again.

Surprise surprise trespass is illegal in the UK . Well actually its a police matter if they can prove intent, otherwise its a civil matter unless of course you commit criminal damage. I assume its down south with six bobby's turning up. You're lucky to get six on a shift up here let alone six on a job.

My guess is the owner probably inherited a lot of money. Used that money to buy that abandoned house in hopes of fixing it up and selling it for 20 times the amount he paid. Then found out it was beyond repair. And is now desperately trying to sell it and cant find a buyer. So has a stick up his arse about protecting it.... But there was no need to act the way he did. It's not like you were there wreaking the place, vandalising it or trying to burn it down. You were being understanding to him. Yet he bites your head off. Oh well. At least you ruined his Saturday. :P

You should of reported the owner for assault and detaining you against your will. You had both offences on video. Ok the charges wouldn't go anywhere but it would have been him who had you arrested. You could have in turn had the owner arrested, he may have changed his mind at that point and you could have gone about your day.
