Bowling lanes are 60 feet (18 meters aka 18 blocks) long, FYI.
Hey man I'm building this in my flat world but I can't mine 4 blocks down cuz of bedrock... I'm really disappointed what can I do :( 14:50
Make a new world
You can edit your world so that you have more layers to work with.
what does the bedrock do? does it work with other blocks? cuz i wanna build it in survival
You can replace the bedrock with obsidian, just has to be a block which slime doesn’t stick to :)

how do you make the height of the red stone lower than -60? On mine, -65 is the void.
As I was building the bowling alley with the construction of how to do It it wasn't doing like the video said the blocks were uneven i know I did the correct things. It still was on the pleace and like they say the slime wasn't cooperating right? So I had to do my own thing in order to make it work. But all in all is an amazing build. Keep Up the good work.
I'm having a similar issue as someone mentioned below. Maybe its cause I'm on Bedrock, but the slime keeps sticking to the dropper instead of retracting back with the sticky piston. If I put a different block like honey or obsidian in place of the dropper it works but it doesnt give the "bowling ball" enough of a push to make it all the way down the lane. So bummed cause this is a really fun build.
Ah That's a shame, I haven't tested it on bedrock so it could be something to do with the mechanics of that version. I might test this on bedrock myself to see if I have same issue.
I managed to make a not so automatic adjustment lol. First I removed the top dropper and replaced it with an obsidian block, then I removed the redstone torch and placed a lever on the side of the sticky piston. After that all I have to do is drop the "Ball" in the hopper and pull the lever and it everything works great :)! Sure its an extra step but as I said before this build was too fun and cute to just give up on it. Apparently it is an issue in bedrock where slime does stick to droppers and dispensers :/

@@ChippzMCI just built it because I found this like a month ago but was too busy to make it but I just made it and had the same problem. I just do a repetitive process to make it work. I just removed the redstone torch behind the piston so the slime block wouldn’t stop the item from dispensing and then when the slime block gets stuck after it pushes the ball down the lane with the piston’s help, I pick up the slime block and move it back.
since i'm using a flat world the bedrock is at -65 so i put a platform under the building and raised it up and broke the bedrock and put light grey concrete all so the machine could work good work tho
at the pins i used a polished blackstone presser plate so it didnt work so i changed it to oak

What texture pack do you use?
If you mean shader pack, I use Chocapic13's Shaders.
im on bedrock the slimeblock isnt sticking to the sticky piston
How do I get the light block? Mine won’t work? Are there spaces?

how do you make the slime block didn't stick?
For it to not stick make sure the ground it's placed on has a unmovable block on it like bedrock or obsidian. Hope this helps
great build but 1 issue i cant get the slimeblock to stick to the piston
hmm, Is the block underneath the slime or just before it an unmovable block like obsidian or bedrock.

@@seanfinity3689 it’s prevents things sticking to the piston. You can use obsidian if you’re in survival.
@ChippzMC Because bedrock can't be collected in survival.

this is the best but my piston cannot push the slime block
If your playing on bedrock, I’ve heard there might be bug to stop it working unlike Java Edition

i did all the mechanical bits right i have checked and i change the block under the slime to bedrock so the slime doesn’t stick and it’s the only way to get the piston to shoot the block down the ally but the ball doesn’t shoot all the way to the end of the ally it stops halfway down … 🥲
Are you playing on bedrock edition? If so I’ve learnt they might have different mechanics compared to Java Edition which is what I built this on.
