This monument is the worst and ugliest in Rome. His color white of marble is completely different from caratheristic one of Rome, brown-red. Futhermore it is too close and oprrim Capitolium andn Ara Coeli, one of most beautiful church and step of Rome. It looks like, and so is called, a typewriter. By an italian.
@@fabriziopastorino3792 L'odio che hanno alcuni italiani per questo monumento non l'ho mai capito. Secondo me alla fine si tratta di un'avversione verso il revivalismo architettonico che invece (a mio parere) andrebbe recuperato!

I beg to differ. It is the most beautiful building in Rome, second only to St. Peter's Basilica.
