Huge thanks for taking the care to put this instructional together for us all! I just replaced mine in no time and it's like new now. Greatly appreciated!! 👍🏻
This video was just perfect! I'm not very handy but this helped and allowed me to fix the stove burners on my GE electric range glasstop stove of 7yrs old myself I had 2 burners that needed the inifinite controller replaced as they would just stay on high heat when using them and we couldn't control the temp. I'm happy to say they're both working perfectly now thanks to your clear and concise instructions. Many thanks and we much appreciate it.
Ryan, if you had the same issue with front dual burner stuck on high - did you replace the burner switch itself as shown in the video or the "infinite" switch that looks different than rest of switches & has a long metal plate on one side? I am confused between two switches. Thanks

My GE glass top, One Burner, if you turn in on it will heat up for few seconds and die, The other burner stays in high heat even you turn to low. Is it a same problem the infinite switches? Thank you in Advance for your response.

First one is most likely the burner second is most likely the switch. you have to get you multimeter out to be sure
I replaced the switch on my oven and it still goes full blast. Could it be the control board?
Did you install Whirlpool OEM Suspension?
Infinite switch should be independent of control board. Control board is for the oven.
Is this something that happens a lot on GEs
It happens to all brands
What would a repair like this cost to have someone come out and do it.
About $250-$350
