wow poland looks, calm but at the same time fun interesting and surprising...I love it...you're right Samuel Warsaw is more than meets the eye..great place
I was there one month ago. Warsaw is a really beautiful city, I thoroughly enjoyed the week I spent there. Pierogi is soooo delicious!! 😊 I really enjoyed wandering around the Old Town it was great!! 👍👍
+Me in HD Poland had massive immigration in 2014! When the war in Ukraine begun. We accepted millions of refugees and geave them home and work. We even built refugee camps! Did you ever heard about racist ataks on Ukrainians in Poland? Shut up child of propaganda.
This is a very charming city, I hope I can visit sometime in the future when all this is over. Seeing and sharing places like this is why I love traveling and make videos so much!
Thank you so much for the video! This will help me a lot in planning for my trip to Poland at the end of this year. ;) I'll definitely try out the pierogi-making session. It seems like so much fun!
+Samuel & Audrey Yup. Kraków and Zakopane are also on the list :D Morskie Oko is located not too far away from Zakopane along the Slovak border and it boasts an incredible view.
Hi, Im from this city and I'm really impressed that you guys learn so much about history of this city :D good job. And places that you chose are absolutely worth to see. I'm so glad that you enjoyed. :))
i just came back from a holiday from warsaw yesterday. unless you actively look for tourist stuff i can tell you that all you will find is random drunk guys, people on 3 day benders, soviet apartment blocks, lots of great food and polish party people partying on Tuesday afternoons. It was fucking great :D
hey guys, i watched ur vlog on BUD a few weeks ago and then decided to visit there in may, clubbing AMS but then decided to check out WAW as well but was not sure....thought i'd check on youtube ...HERE I SEE YALL AGAIN ON :-) ...great vlog guys...thanks i have decided to go there along with BUD .....
Travelling to Europe again from Australia and finding your videos really helpful (watched this one and Ljubljana where we are also going). Mentioning local foods is a great idea.
Thanks for your great video! I would like to visit Warsaw and Krakow one day. It could be a great holiday! I've visited Zakopane two years ago. Our winter trip by a funicular railway to the peak Gubalowka was amazing. From there is a beautiful panoramic view of the mountains High Tatras. Samuel & Audrey, thanks!
+Adriana Ferechova Thank you! Oh, that area sounds awesome. I'd love to return again in the winter. Hope you visit Warsaw and Krakow soon. We're keen to visit Krakow as well :)
This seems to be a very charming place, I hope I can visit sometime in the future when all this is over. Seeing and sharing places like this is why I love traveling and make videos so much!
Thanks to this video you guys became pretty famous in Warsaw :) I love that you liked your trip and it is really nice to see that you were trully interested in our history and polish 'things' in general. I'm saing this because sometime tourists are ignoring the fact that Warsaw was completly destroyed during II world war and they are compering this city perhaps to Krakow were everything is original so compering is a little bit pointless. But I guess the fact the we rebuild our capital is also history, isn't it? Anyway it's a pleasure that we had guests like you, come again, check other cities, I'm sure you won't be disapointed :)
+Zuzanna Ognik Thank you very much! It is fascinating how Warsaw is rebuilding and I feel it has a special vibe because of it. We're very keen to travel more in Poland. I hope we can do so soon :)
Thank you for this guide. I moved to Warsaw from Cracow about 2 months ago and your guide will be very helpfull for me. I recommend to visit Cracow, our old capitol. It has a very specific and interesting atmosphere. Best regards!
Wow, I just discovered your channel, and your videos are great!! They're helping me planning my family tour to Poland :-) The kind of attractions and interest points you're highlighting are... just the right ones! Better than any tour guide I've ever found. I'll follow you for other destinations too. And... I love the way you eat and enjoy food!
Been in Warsaw many times and completly fell in love with the city. If you are into nightlife I would recommend going to New Orleans. Top spot as well for a party as for a delicious dinner.
Awesome video guys :) You should also go to one of polish brew bars like Drugie Dno to explore polish craft beer. In normal pubs you usually can't feel how great Polish beer can be until you go to a brew bar!
I was missing few things here that are very typical for Warsaw and make this place unique. I recommend going to a Klubokawiarnia type of place with hookahs. That is definitely something very popular in the capital. Also I would try some of the shots bars with vodka only. I can't imagine visiting Poland without drinking vodka. Nowadays parties at Vistula river in the night is where the whole city nightlife is. Taking a boat along the river is actually not very popular that is why there aren't that many options to rent one. For a more luxurious feel of the city, I would see Hotel Polonia, at least the lobby, Hotel Bristol (there is an amazing Afternoon tea on the weekends till 5 pm in Bar Kolumnowy which has a style of Art Deco - better than in Britain) or try Panorama Sky Bar in Marriott hotel, the highest hotel bar in Europe with an amazing view of the city. The bar is very stylish and New York style. There are also some fancy restaurants that are just breathtaking like the famous Belvedere in Lazienki Park or the less famous ones like Polish style Restauracja pod Gigantami or Izumi Sushi Bialy Kamien in an orangery.
This seems to be a very interesting place, I hope I can visit sometime in the future. Seeing and sharing places like this is why I love traveling and make videos so much! And please keep up the great job! Subscribed!!
If you want to go back in time I suggest you to visit Crakow ( a lot of history, Jewish area Kazimierz, Shindler's factory and one of the first capitals in Poland) Ojców ( many castles and caves), Biskupin museum (first settlement from VI-XI century), Toruń ( city of Nicolaus Copernicus), Gdańsk ( city of trade in the past). If you want to see beautiful landscapes or take rest go to Mazury ( forests and lakes), Pieniny (Mountain), Bieszczady (Mountain, wild nature), or chose one of 23 National Parks in Poland.
I'm headed to Warsaw.. I booked two weeks which might seem like a lot but I like slower travel and traveling solo, so might meet a nice Polish girl there : )
you should've guys also go to the Poniatowka beach at night - they have awesome clubbing and also wild bonfire parties in the summer, all running till morning hours
Poland is great place to visit :) You should go to Szczecin and stay in Hotel Dana which is place in the city center. Very comfortable and tidy rooms, tasty cusine. And they have nice SPA :)
Have you been to Krakowskie Przedmiescie? Next to the Old Town Castle Square and Market Square, or New Town? The Marie curie museum in freta street in between old town and new town, or the churches in the new and old town district?
Such a great video! All that stuff in a week?? You did a very good job! Thanks for promoting Warsaw:) I am also blogging about Warsaw, I think it's such a cool city. Please let me know if you come back here, I would like to help you see even more things! I'm not posting my blog to avoid looking like a spammer but let me know if you are interested. Best wishes from Warsaw!
Thank you! We used to use a camcorder as this was a couple of years old but our new primary camera is a Panasonic GH5 with a 12-60 f2.8 to 4.0 lens. Couldn't recommend it highly enough :)
I'm traveling to Poland soon to visit a friend of mine for about a week. Seeing Krakow and Warsaw. My question is how much money should I bring?? I was thinking in the $500 range. Thanks!
Thank you! That sounds like it should be more than enough. To be honest whatever you can save on accomodation will really help as will eating at local milk bars and doing some self-catering (groceries are very reasonably priced) as opposed to eating out for every meal. Also, take advantage of public transportation to get around.
Thank you! I'm only staying in an Airbnb for one night and the rest will be at my friend's place so I don't have to worry about a hotel bill. Just food, alcohol, attractions, and transportation. Love this and the Krakow video btw!
Thanks for making this video. I’m thinking about spending a couple weeks in Warsaw in October 2020 after a Russian Volga cruise. Can you please tell me what hotel you stayed at and did you like it? Do tour buses pick up from the hotel? What tours do you recommend ? I’d like to take tours that depart from Warsaw as well .. Chopin tours, Auswitz tours etc. Do people speak English there? Will it be hard to take taxis? Thanks so very much!!
It has been several years since we visited so I would check both airbnb for apartment rentals and booking dot com for hotels to see what offers better value. You can around on foot for many places and taxis should be easy enough to take. I'd recommend booking tours from the centre of town.
Hi, I know that sounds weird but - 22) Copernicus Science Centre sounds regal but should be called Science Centre Copernicus (or Science Centre the Copernicus). Poland is a lovely country with lovely people STOP propaganda!
What propaganda?
i didnt write this to u. I said generally They say that Poland is most racist country in europe. Is not!
I see. Locals were certainly friendly to us.
Too be honest, if Poland had mass immigration, this would change very very quickly.
+Me in HD Poland had massive immigration in 2014! When the war in Ukraine begun. We accepted millions of refugees and geave them home and work. We even built refugee camps! Did you ever heard about racist ataks on Ukrainians in Poland? Shut up child of propaganda.
Been there this summer, really enjoyed it, lovely city and very friendly people. I Recommend going there in hot seasons.
+SanAndreasAviation Oh, that is cool to hear about your experiences. We'd definitely go back.

Yup. Kraków and Zakopane are also on the list :D Morskie Oko is located not too far away from Zakopane along the Slovak border and it boasts an incredible view.
+YummYakitori It sounds like you're going to have an amazing trip. We really regret not budgeting more time to check out more of the country.

Poland seems lovely, I want to visit there when I'm older and have enough money to travel, but that's not how you say Warsaw
Thank you! Best wishes with that.
Travelling Poland is not expensive. First step is "the master plan" :) Choose or roll a dice. City: Gdansk, Malbork,Warsaw, Torun, Wroclaw etc.
Awesome video guys :) You should also go to one of polish brew bars like Drugie Dno to explore polish craft beer. In normal pubs you usually can't feel how great Polish beer can be until you go to a brew bar!
Thank you! Great suggestions. I hope we can do that next time.
GREAT !
Thanks!
I'm going in September yaaay, thank you, I love your videos

I'm headed to Warsaw.. I booked two weeks which might seem like a lot but I like slower travel and traveling solo, so might meet a nice Polish girl there : )

Ah, that sounds like a lot of fun.
if evrything goes as planed i will be in may for 9 days vacation. my appartment is directly in old town. i am looking forward to it.
Wishing you happy travels! Sounds like a fun time. 😊
Poland is great place to visit :) You should go to Szczecin and stay in Hotel Dana which is place in the city center. Very comfortable and tidy rooms, tasty cusine. And they have nice SPA :)
Thank you! Really appreciate the recommendation :)
Poland hasnt a monarchy for a real long time? It was the biggest Commonwealth in the middleage for a real glory time!

Thank you! We used to use a camcorder as this was a couple of years old but our new primary camera is a Panasonic GH5 with a 12-60 f2.8 to 4.0 lens. Couldn't recommend it highly enough :)
There is Fear Zone in Warsaw, the best place to get real emotions, becouse it is interactive haunted house :D
Thanks for the suggestion!
