I'm so sorry to hear this I thought for sure 100% you had a position in DC .our Farmers ,Our Amish communities ( I live in Pennsylvania and Amish Amos Miller should ring bells) anyone that is farming in so many ways needs a voice as our Govt does everything to stop people from growing food. Im so sick of our food in this country GMO, coming from other countrys etc. Not only is our food horrible, taste like crap bit is making us so sick. We need a voice.

Sure, but knowing Trump his voice would be ignored. Trump has no intention of letting RFK do anything. The second he meets with chemical company CEOs, he'll take their money and kill anything RFK would want to do. The folks who voted for Trump thinking they were getting RFK are fools and will be disappointed.

Always start at your state level. Call and don’t write your Representatives and Senators, don’t email, don’t call too often , get others to call as well. I recommend listening to Rep Thomas Massie’s speech at the Weston A. price Foundation. He has plenty of good tips regarding that subject. Also - call your reps and tell them they need to go behind this Freedom of Food choice Amendment.

@@chiefidahojoe check your own facts. No representative can ever be appointed to the House. They are all elected. If a vacancy occurs, a special election is held. And for the record, if you want ag without chemicals, the Republican party is a foolish place to give your votes.
Just look at Trump's first four years. His EPA head killed regulations that would have reduced use of a pesticide that impacts children's development.
Trump won't let RFK do anything to reduce pesticide use. Period.

I’m working on regenerative grazing which I believe livestock is the best place to start. If you get USDA out , the row croppers will have a chance to look at alternative practices. If you think keeping the USDA and changing policies is the answer it just means you are going to dictate your theories , that’s not going to work either.

Well guess what the bad news is some industrial ag hawks already have claws on Brooke Rollins and trying to pull her over to their side.
Just a few days ago, John Boozman who is a senator from Arkansas who supports commodity crop subsidies (barley, corn, peanut, soybean, etc. that go into ultra-processed food) and someone who has received half $1m campaign contributions from Ag processing groups just met with Rollins. And he said he was “pleased” to talk with her about their “shared interests” in advancing policies to help agricultural communities bla bla…
Industry hawks clearly see her inexperience as their advantage and they know they have the money and the diplomacy inside the white house… if everyone wants to help RFK, Jr. we need to write our senators and let them know we want an agricultural leader that’s for sustainable regenerative, pesticide free practices, NOT somebody who holds the same views as Boozman. This is not the time to be complacent and say whatever goes. The future of food and health are in our hands.

not sure why you would derail an opportunity for you to influence USDA by calling her an “Ag Light Weight” even if its true. Doubt she would be interested in a sit down with you after calling her that. I doubt the Industrial Big Ag providers would call her that further pushing her closer to them.

Farmers should simply stop feeding the soldiers and bureaucrats who abuse them and their neighbors . I don't sell food to cops or attorneys at my market. Many Loyalists say I am mean, but I remind them that I don't live by the sword/gun robbing people's stuff. It isn't in my interest to feed govt any more than they force me to at gun point.

The reason they tried to impeach him on the way out the door last time is because he was going to pardon Snowden and was thinking about Assange and was going to release the Kennedy papers. He backed off doing those things because a bunch of establishment. Republicans told him they would vote with the Democrats to impeach and he would not be able to run for president again. But now he gets the last laugh! This is just one of the many reasons the left and the establishment are so desperate to stop him. Because he’s going out of their power and their corruption. So keep voting no matter who America will eventually be California, New York, Chicago, Seattle, Portland, Detroit, Philadelphia, etc., etc.

I disagree. We do not need insiders; we need managers from the outside to ask those simple, difficult questions that make people look at each other. The farm industry has made few positive gains since it became a political organization. As with every organization that has a history of not functioning well the root cause usually is found within. And, the root causes are born of doing the same old things and expecting a different outcome. If you are so sure that you are needed then make contact and feed your opinions. We are sure your contributions would be appreciated. Sometimes you cannot grow a better product by replanting a vine from an existing plant, you need to plow the crop under under and plant a newer breed of innovative seeds. Farming is mostly common sense. critical thinking and a debate inclusive of a wide range of business experiences. If your industry disagrees with historic performance (status quo) then you are not asking the right questions or the current preferred leadership is using the wrong set of tools to fix the poor performance. One person at the top should be a business manager, not a farm representative sold on short-sighted and biased concepts approved by his peers. a position so small in scale that the biased leadership cannot see the forest for the trees. A strong leader asks questions and listens., a weak leader preaches and looks to install controlling policies. The former is a manager the latter is a boss. A manager manages people and a boss manages projects... you probably should be looking for a manager who manages outcomes starting at the end goal and working backward to an action plan then finding the people who are qualified to move the plan into productive critically time-controlled strategies and tactics always pointed at the end goal. There are a lot of good people that have great ideas absent management and communication skills. The name of the game is the ability to communicate and be surrounded by the necessary non-political expertise. Selling the concept that US farmers will be out of business by 2040 (a certain time) and, thereafter all food will be imported at a higher cost without meeting basic safety conditions is a strong example of the size and scale of the problem that a well-managed team has the detailed answers to. A manager lets his team of experts fill in the blanks and after exhausting debates overseen by the manager have taken place, the solutions will be affordable and rock-solid and the product will have the features that will benefit all Americans long-term therefore easily sold to Congress. The product will be stronger than any opposing political objection, if not, you have chosen the wrong manager and your manager has chosen the wrong team of experts.
