Was gonna comment this. Old Truckee trick. Some controversy about it in the forums but can vouch that it works to stop straps flapping/making heaps of noise.
Haha. I’m a truckie, getting old… it also works a treat when I tie down our caravan awning. I use small rachet straps instead of guy ropes. Surprising the amount of difference it makes.
Hey Luke, love the videos man keep up the hard work. What I’ve done in the past is attach the winch to the front when travelling just as an extra safety precaution, but when u do this u have to have it tight so it doesn’t flap in the wind and if u do this you have to put a small piece of carpet around the bull bar to prevent rubbing
North western WA is pretty hot and super windy this time of year and throughout summer. Can be a very unpleasant place to be. That coastline is sensational and stunning in its biodiversity but definitely has better times of the year to experience it.
Legends. Love the content. WA is sick, just moved from QLD to Perth, and just did the WA coast in our Lotus and Ram 1500. It’s awesome. Be sure to book in Big Lagoon in Francis Peron National Park Shark Bay. Good week or 2 there. Awesome to launch boat off the beach. Hit us up if you need some company 👌
Determination got you there. Well done! Looking forward to seeing your vlogs of your travels. I'm in NZ and haven't been to WA either. I've been watching the Roamin in the Robbo vlogs and they've been doing that area that you're going to. Looks amazing. Have you checked out their vlogs? Pretty intrepid. They've got kids travelling with them too.
hey guys. an idea to make sure the boat loader legs are the same is measure both the legs so they are the same distance and put a mark with a sharpie or something so you know where they are ment to be all the time then you just have to line them up.
You guys are amazing, the way you work together is beautiful. I love how much you love and support each other, so rare these day. Hope your journey is the dream you imagined. ❤🥰💋
Could you get a tarp or canvas cover pulled tight so that you don't get any air getting trapped in under the boat on top of the car? It looks like it would chew up heaps of extra fuel as is.
Your fuel economy is going to be alot worse now that the boat is on roofracks, when driving at high speeds you'll notice alot more drag from the wind going up under the boat now. not sure how would you fix it im sure there is products to use
Watch you two is like pulling fingernails out with pliers. Obviously you really didn't read the instructions. I use a kayak loader with a atv whinch to lift a tinny of same size so easy.
@@thatfalzonfamily back up the timber I just can't see Luke getting it off on his own you had the right idea with rollers on the back instead of the wood two aluminium bars it will slide better just trying to help
The thing that has been giving you all the trouble getting the boat off is that piece of the car that hangs off the back off the back above your back door if you can get that off problem solved
Well Done guys. that's a cool invention.
Boat loader is Awsome well done Alex Luke’s havin anxiety
lol
thank you
Hey guys you need to put a couple of twists in the strap definately stops the humming noise
ok didn't no that I will deff try that cheers man
You need to put tefgel or duralac on all screws you put into the boat to stop different metals reacting and causing corrosion.
yes thank you bro I will look into it bro cheers for the heads up man
Put a twist in the strap when you tie it down. It will help prevent the strap from flapping in the breeze.

good idea I like that idea might try it out bro cheers man
Well done guys, that was tense!!!!!! ;-)
Great video once again
Thanks again!
Becarefull those bolts will erode the alloy, and for the noise of the straps, try twisting them and give that a go. Should get rid of the noise
thank you mate I will keep that in mind

Well done guys 🎉🎉🎉 see ya on the road somewhere in the ningaloo
Ive heard if you put a twist in a strap it stops it from humming.
I might have to try it, its so loud
You need the clip on wheels for the boat, will make easier for loading and launching.
I need to look into it thank you so much

Looks great however a H bar in the tow ball and an ATV winch is a much cheaper, quicker takes up les room. Great achievement tho 👏
Was lucky enough to swim with whale sharks in Xmouth, one of my favourite places in Aus, enjoy you legends.NXTSTOP!

Hey, were you two on the tv show "the block"? If not I think you should give it a go. You seem like block contestants.

@@thatfalzonfamily it's good, I think you would probably win!
Ningaloo in summer ??? High temps
yeah we've been told it is how hot you think at least 38
Go west best time to go stay over December, January and February we will love the content lol
thats the plan bro cant wait for it

Geraldton has such good fishing bro that's my home town should link up and take me out on the boat for a video would be funny as 😂

Put a knot or a twist at each end of the strap it will stop the humming
cheers brother will do
Yeah the mics👌
was it better than last time?
😂love it
Make sure you get the 12v Ryobi charger
Interesting I feel your fuel economy's not going to be great with the boat.
Let you know where to go when you get to western please check where Rocky can be
I want to catch some fish my friend lol
It’s going to be hot and cyclone season
we will see what happens
Geez imagine if it’s ever pouring rain when ya gota do all that .
she will pull like 10 men
Put a couple of twists in your strap it will fix the humming.
ok bro thank you
Instead of strapping it down, use turn buckels
cheers man I will give it ago
You wont wanna go home if you head to ningaloo coast line 😂 Exmouth/yardi creek is my favourite. Enjoy guys ✌️
omg we are so excite for it thank you for your comment thank you 😊
Luke have trust in Alex
Put a kink in the strap mate and it will stop the vibration noise

Come up to Karratha I’ll take you for a spearfish

Told you didn’t I ,hey guys.

Go to bullara station stay good for the kids
cheers man we will look into it 😊
Bro you nearly took the snorkel off 🤦♂️
I agree
she's close but she works my bro

I will put a tarp under it so its hard for the wind to get under it do you think that would work?
Yay I was right
First
hey

All that just to get a tinny off 😂 to lengths of 4 X2 slide off back take off the rubber on roof tie front of boat to bull bar
and how do you get it back on?
