When the dev said ZZZ inspired by fighting games, they really meant it.
I hope there will be a character with SDW+attack SAWattack (asd+attack, dsa+attack) special attacks
The combat mechanics are much like a mix between a tag team fighting game and Honkai Impact 3rd.

But unlikely they will implement these sort of ‘combo’ bcs Hoyo games cater casual more than dedicated players, and they want to simplify gameplay as much as possible so the causal players can also get the visual of flashy combo with minimum input

you can do Nicole's unique EX by holding the basic attack, then doing the circle movement(the animation changes if you continue to hold or release early)

If you switch from Koleda to Ben right after the combined ultimate
(here 1:49) you can immediately start attacking the same enemy with Ben because he will stay where he is, skipping the run-up and saving some time.
Works against bosses and elite enemies I guess, just make sure that their positions in the team are correct.
You mean After the 3 combo Attack streak, rigth?
What are you mean by correct position? There is only 3 chars in party, so you can swap to any of two remaining - forward in list by 'space' or backward with 'c' (also works with parry).
@@Tollaro maybe they meant to make sure to add ben after koleda (koleda slot A, and ben in slot B not slot C, or before koleda herself.)
@@Maruhodo they surely are! But iirc this chars doesnt have specific slot conditions, so positioning in correct slot can be necessary only to quick swap from Koleda to Ben. If that is the only matter - there is no reason to care about A B or C slot, because you can swap in both directions. My friend didnt know (and game dont tell that to you directly) that you can swap on 'C' key, so i assume mb @BM-13_KATYUSHA also didnt know that.

I knew the Koleda/Ben one as I main them, but I just saw another video about Nicole's a bit earlier today.

You get to deploy Koleda and Ben as trial during one of the story missions and Ben is mentioned in all of her skill descriptions. Plus training mode Koleda will deploy with Ben in free battle IIRC. The player would be informed once they touch the tutorial here, if not the mission.
Tip for nicole’s unique ex attack: the animation where it shoots into the air and she falls over does do damage if you’re close to your opponent (hugging range pretty much) and can even be canceled after the blast goes off with a dash
So a good combo could be doing basic attack to gap close, hold it for the special once your close, do the circle input for the unique version, release immediately for it to shoot up, then dash cancel to continue the combo
With this mechanic and koleda + Ben team up I suspect they’ll add more stuff like this in the future, unique teams up attacks for members of the same faction and additional inputs for other characters
The entire fall down animation is i-frame, so it's actually better to use it and take advantage of the assist trigger to switch to your dps.
Enemy continue to target tagged out teammate, so the boss will try to whale on invincible Nicole while you get to whale on the boss.
It isn't just an animation for Koleda and Ben either. The teamwork versions do more damage.
It isn't so much as to make you feel mandated to keep them together, but it's a great touch.
It's not much in terms of damage. But ult AOE distance seems really bigger.

Amby's 123 hold attack can still be triggered if you use skill before the hold attack, it greatly increases her stun build up per cycle, not sure if that counts.
The game just came out so character kit exploration is still in progress

@@jordyn-vb3cf It actually doesn't, both her hold normal and skill mention working better after 3 normal hits but do not mention you can do hold normal after skill
Sol 11 have combo 4 normal atk with 4 beat on it to do fire atk without using skills
Koleda use EX when she standing on ben's pillar , it will return about 20 energy
I accidentally discovered the Koleda + Ben and I was doing it again and again afterwards LOL theyre still my team rn, its soo cool and i hope we get more combos like them
I had no idea you could even *hold* Nicole’s special attack, wtf. And her falling on her butt is so in character, too. Good to see that part’s consistent
Really hope we get more duo/team attacks and ults! since the whole team shares 1 ult meter it seems perfect to have that in the game!
My fav is koleda and ben these two fighting together is just so funny i hope they more like these in the future
I knew about the animation where Nicole sits on the case, but this is my first time seeing the one where she falls. I also didn't know you could manually trigger the animation, I thought it was something that just had a chance of happening at random. Funny to think I had been doing it accidentally.

remind of pandora box from dmc4 where there's a same type of move which dante need to do the WASD input to trigger it.
I think it adds a nice touch to the A units. It seems the game wanted A units to remain relevant for a good while, especially since counter attacks and switching between units has dialog and whatnot between them.
Koleda's special with Ben is shown literally in training, so I knew about it.
Since its only been out for almost a month I imagine there are more hidden combos and as more characters are added (or perhaps alternate move sets for current characters as part of variants) there will be more added in the future.
I like the idea of characters having combined attack
From what I understand, WASD,WASD E (Hold) or WASD, WASD E (Hold Quick Release)
only works if you have energy

For Nicole, just use the skill and quickly rotate the joystick, no need to go running around.
Wow, Nicole's stuff cancels the wind up. Good find! Too bad you can't combo it from her actual dash attack (fires her handbag uzi all around), it goes into the normal anim with the wind up. :X
Also, Ben doesn't come out to help Koleda for the last hit in her normal chain all the time. I dunno if the cooldown is mentioned in her movelist. IME Ben appears one time out of 3. The Ult is guaranteed to spawn Ben tho.
I mean… it does say in koleda’s description she has combination attacks with Ben.
Kolela and Ben are easy since you can get that in chapter 2 trial character story.
I've seen people do Nicole's unique special, but I never figured out how they did it until now.

妮可的那個坐下射擊算是彩蛋的一種，用手機非常容易按出來，用PC的話，就稍微難一些，目前測試出最容易觸發的方式是按著E的時候，同時順序按下WAS or WDS 就能用出坐下射擊，這期間E都不能提前放開，不然就會變成對空射擊
I don't have koleda. So the surprise for me is that koleda actually have solo animation attack. Because I only play koleda on story mission where ben is on the team.
I like how if you switch to Ben during a tag and hes on the field from Koleda's attacks he stays on and attack and not just disappear and respawn in.

What are the differences between Nicole’s three variations? Does it change in damage, anomaly buildup, daze etc.?
Kolyada + Ben - This is a mechanic that increases Kolyada's damage
I discovered that koleda move when i put ben and anton with her to form a belobog team for fun, now im using these two in combats
Also when do you switch after a basic atk combo and Ben came out, Ben will continue and open with a Bear Claw atk
The best thing about using the charge attack with Nicole sitting on the briefcase is that she takes no damage while on that animation.
Tip for nicole EX animation if ur on keyboard+mouse. Use two hands, hold E first and then after the bubble appears do a little cirle on WASD or just press WASD in order rlly fast and you can get her to do the sitting animation. I find it's easier if you hold E with your other hand while your WASD hand does the circle movement.
Also doing the circle before holding E does nothing
You can also skip the E part, and do the dodge attack, hold the attack, spin, release attack.
Ben has a move without Koleda where when you parry with his pillar with enough EX gauge he can propel himself forward or do a spinning flame pillar attack
So, to clarify, you dont do the spin first, you do the spin after you start charging. If you let go before she sits down, it does the upwards launch shot where she falls.

Youd learn about Koleda and Ben if you played the story with trial characters unlocked since you can try them out im ch2. Also I think Ben is an assist in her demo

@@PureLunari I think it makes the animation to her attacks more fluid since you really can't chain her basic attacks to her specials without her stopping for a second.

I just found out Nicole reload her weapon but didn’t know about this I’m definitely gonna try this out
There's a VR in the room with HDD, use it to learn these stuff and get Polychrome along the way.
There are also moves with animation cancels as well. You can dodge cancel on Soukaku before the cyclone comes out and still get to launch the enemy in the air.
These are cool. I hope we get more combined supers

I actually know both of them 😮 but it's still so hard to do the Nicole one on PC. Mobile is so much easier...
I really want someone that has an insanely long animation just for one hit that does very big damage but can get stunned out and to do it needs to do something like the konami code.
Pratically something like Tekken Kazuya Mishima 10 hit combo but harder to utilize.
Why do I want a really bad move hard to use? Because it would be funny and I would unironically just spam that attack even if 9 out of 10 attacks misses. Just for the funny.
