the fucking spring! I had a cz75 in college. great gun. but the trigger spring sprung away when I once tried to take it apart. Spent 2 hours looking for it across the room. Didn't find it till it poked me in the foot next morning...
just noticed something else, the two lock nugs don't swing on a pin/axis but the edge of the part acts as the 'hinge' when they move around. brilliant design. Less machining and beefier parts.
You should have put a small dab of white lithium grease on the spring center to keep it from twanging when opening and closing. 👍🤠
Very cool video. Always loved the Dirac platform!
Thank you! I’m glad you appreciated it. The Dirac platform is my favorite offering from Microtech, I think.
Awesome video! I just subscribed.
😁😁👉 the spring 😁😁🤭
What type/size bolt is used to hold the deployment button to the internal slider? @5:44
ANSWERED - For anyone seeing this comment later, it's a Torx 8 (T8) bolt.
Could you share your toolbit? I need to disassemble mine but won't give microtech 300 dols for a tool
Does your button have zero jiggle or play or just a tiny tiny bit?
Mine has zero play. Since it is screwed into place, tightening the screw should reduce the play.
