That's a yes as my friend has the same one and only uses the from never installed the rear. Just wish I could get mine to recognize the memory card.

I just got one of these and every time I turn it on it tells me to format the memory card So I don't know if it works or not can't get the seller to reply to me thought I could find a video that would help but I guess not
Yes, you must format the card after inserting it, before it is used to record.

@@kellyvanwinkle1380 connect the memory card to a pc or laptop then right click on the external memory car name then format....I got the same problem a few month ago
