I've used pretty paper to make the same rectangular tabs, but how did I never think of using a book page? Pam, this is your superpower. You see what the rest of us overlook.
I just want to take a minute to thank you for sharing your creativity over the last few years that I have followed you. You are so inspiring and creative. i took a year off after my stroke and I had memory issues but by George I knew to look for Pams uploads lol. You are a part of my physical therapy and since I forgot I had an amazon account using what I had was awesoome. Don't worry that part of my memory is recovered and Amazon has been my addiction again.
Ooo! I just thought of another! The twisted paper rope handles from gift bags! Cut a short length, untwist( INK FIRST, of course)! Makes a great crinkly page tab, or fanned out, to make a journal card pull. That is all.
Thank you for another inspirational video showing us more ways to use old book pages!! I love how you show us we can turn scraps into something not only useful, but also BEAUTIFUL! I think what sets your videos above others is that we can use things we find/make, instead of things we have to go out and buy - and the result is that we get original, awesome works of art, instead of identical, cookie-cutter copies! I love how you really put your personality into your projects, too - they aren't just carbon copies - and not only that - but you make it FUN!! Another enthusiastic thumbs up!!
God morning outposters❤ I am working on the cutest journal cover.. I wanted to share. Started with a cracker box and fabric scraps from discarded clothing torn into thin strips fabric tac glue in diagonal design super cute
My favorite page tab idea is from paint chip tags... from the hardware store. I had some in my stash, not saying abscond with paint sample chips at ALL! 😂 The long ones make great page edge, or belly bands. But if sliced lengthwise you get two-fer, and those can be cut into small page tab pieces! The sky is the limit!
Pam, I love your videos and I have several of your kits too. So, thank you for all you do! Loving that you collab with Carol Laws 'cause she is a special lady too. I've made tabs out of pretty paprs but your idea of using book pages is simply stellar! Best Wishes! 😊
Thanks for these tab ideas. It’s nice to get back to basics. I feel I over do my pages sometimes. Sunbun hold out for more cuddles. Happy crafting everyone.
Hello miss Pam, wow love how your journal is massive! My fav thing to do as well Ha. Love your tabs. Book pages are so awesome to use. Thanks for all your inspiration. Have a blessed day ❤
Great idea. For some reason I have the hardest time trying to cut out the shape if tabs so this will make the tab chore so much easier. Why didn't I think to do this! Thanks. Made me have a "DA" moment.
Great timing Pam! I was just thinking about buying some diecuts of tabs. These are so cute, and this will save me some money too! Thanks! Have an awesome day, Pam and company..lol
Hi Pam, I love these tabs. I've made something similar but forgot about book pages. You always come up with these good ideas! Thanks for sharing! ♥️☺️🫂🐾🍄🦉🧵🪡🧶🖌🎨🖼✨️
Mornin Pam. Always good to have more ideas to use up book pages. I have a ton of dictionary pages to use up...this will be perfect. TFS Hope you all have a great day. 🌞
Lovely tabs Pam. Great to see you using different coloured ink pads. I recently purchased my oxide pads so I'm pretty excited to use them😁💚, love from Australia.
For some reason The Paper Outpost videos are no longer coming up on the home page. They used to be one of the first videos, now I have to go manually hunt them down in my subscriptions. Wonder what's up with that . Also, Pam, these little tabs look real cute with rounded corners. Thanks so much for the book page idea! Very cute!
Annie
Morning Pam! Love these tabs! Leave it to you to come up with yet another brilliant way to use book pages. Going to head down to the craft basement to make a passel of these! (How many is a passel)? Cheers from Denver CO!
Have you been sick? Your voice has changed!!! 🙏🏻 I don’t know why I haven’t made these on my own because I really like this idea. I’m definitely making these but putting card stock on the back to make the tabs sturdy.
Thank You Pam 😊VERY CUTE 👍🏼♥️I LOVE ❤️ the SIZE of your Glue Bottles ❗️❗️I Bought Glue Sticks AND GLUE BOTTLE but It’s TOO clunky with Big Bottle of Glue 👎🏼DARN , I Feel like I’m trying to to Use A Baby bottle 🤣😂. Where DID You GET Your SMALLER Glue Bottles ? Just Wondering 🤔 THANKS SO MUCH 😊❗️G-d♥️Bless
I started thinking of words for these tabs and went a little crazy. Some would require a condensed font -- Important, Favorite, Profound, Experient, Section #. Others might need a funky or grungy font. Short ones could be bold -- Joy, Happy, Fun, Idea. I've been thinking about an elemental journal -- Earth, Air, Fire, Water -- each having a different swashy font. I've used hand lettering before since getting printouts is a problem for me, lettering stencils saves me from my shaky writing.
This is a great idea. I am working on a Harry Potter book. Going to use pages from an HP book found at a thrift store. It’s is rough shape but certain dialogue from the book will be priceless. ❤

I have one of those corner punches with 3 different decorative corners. Using that on the 2 outside corners makes an interesting shaped tab.
Ooo! I just thought of another! The twisted paper rope handles from gift bags! Cut a short length, untwist( INK FIRST, of course)! Makes a great crinkly page tab, or fanned out, to make a journal card pull. That is all.
I love these pagetabs, simple but gorgeous
I like to fold my paper in half then use my circle punch to get a 1/2 circle. Alternate square and half circle adds interest ❤
Awww sunshine, get that chicken lil man, we gotta make sure our pup repoter is happy
Love those tabs, so easy, but big impact!
Love your videos, Sunny is such a cutie, Thanks for letting us see him with his pup dates, Lillie

Yes I like this!!
I love these
Cute, cute, cute! These are adorable Pam.😊
I’ve used my circle punches to make tabs. Sometimes I cut them in half and glue together to make the curved part be on the outside.
Love these Pam. Glad your cold is almost gone! ;)
These are very nice!
I want to make tabs for my Bible and these would be perfectly! Thank you! You always have such great ideas, Pam!
Shjoe, that is a thick journal. 😊
Sunny, tell mom she can make up for embarrassing you by giving you more chicken!!😂
Fun tabs! Making them for my journal!!
Hi Pam🤗💕
Pam, I have been watching you for years! I wonder if you have ever done a Q and A about yourself?
I also cut words out of magazines. You get different sizes and fonts.

Love the spool dauber! What did you use to attach the sponge?
❤❤❤
Have you been sick? Your voice has changed!!! 🙏🏻
I don’t know why I haven’t made these on my own because I really like this idea. I’m definitely making these but putting card stock on the back to make the tabs sturdy.
I suppose you could use a dictionary for words also. I look forward to your weekly videos and ideas 😊
I am working on one that has red white and blue bread tabs
I have another question. I found some wood spools. What do you use at the end of yours for the ink? Is it just a sponge?
Thank You Pam 😊VERY CUTE 👍🏼♥️I LOVE ❤️ the SIZE of your Glue Bottles ❗️❗️I Bought Glue Sticks AND GLUE BOTTLE but It’s TOO clunky with Big Bottle of Glue 👎🏼DARN , I Feel like I’m trying to to Use A Baby bottle 🤣😂. Love this idea, you could make thousands of them, this journal is looking sooooooooooooooooooo chunky monkey.
This is a great idea. I am working on a Harry Potter book. Going to use pages from an HP book found at a thrift store. It’s is rough shape but certain dialogue from the book will be priceless. ❤
Or maybe put a paperclip in when closed as part of an altered paperclip
Is that birds chirping in the background?
And I just bit the bullet last week and got a tag punch from Amazon. 😵💫 😊😉
Is that Holly?
He needs more chicken‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️
Pam, you sound like you dont feel good😢. Your voice is hoarse. Hope all is ok!
Not to be too nosey but are you ok? It looks like your arms and hands have gotten very skinny
