That was the dumbest decision i've seen in a while. Im a Terran player and i know rule N1 - never ever loose your Corsairs for no reason at all or just for 2-3 Overlords. Having a Corsair fleet gives you so much map control, scouting, allows your DTs to harass and prevent bases, keep the zerg blind because he has to protect his overlords, denies drops, muta switches, you name it. I cant fathom how a "pro" can do such a stupid mistake.

I've always wondered, do south Korean players pick English words like Rain or Barracks, or do they pick Korean words and they're just translated into English? And if so, how come names like Maru or DRG aren't translated?
Its case by case. Most of the korean players do tend to choose an english word that sounds cool like rain, flash, faker. But some players translate their korean nickname into english (Barrack is translated from the korean word 병영) or just write in english (제동->jaedong)

Trying to follow ASL more closely this season than i have in the past. Very exciting how every series is BO1. Interesting how often players pull out aggressive, high risk builds given that if it fails you just lose the series.
too much RNG in best of one.I feel the opposite the more games the more accurate result as far as the best player winning. isn't the best player advancing what we want?

@@MJ.Actual Definitely agree that it's not ideal for the biggest Brood War tournament in the world haha. Wouldn't mind seeing some more BO1 in random, smaller SC2 and Brood War tournaments.
if you enjoy this, next ASL will be even better - matches will be in the BO 1/2 format so we save even more time ! If a game has not ended by 7 minutes the player with more supply is the winner. The season after THAT will be BO 0 - we just skip the entire round of 24. By the time Flash comes out of the military ASL will be just him picking up the trophy, cause let's be honest, we don't care about that other crap :)

He was trying to supply block Action before attacking, and catching him in an obvious muta switch but: 1) Action did not loose all ovies, and just to be sure queued some more 2) the attack was delayed by Actions maneuver
I hate it when toss loses to hydra rush when they don't know what's coming, it's like they always think that the corsair will get out in time when even when that works it only buys you a second, stagger out 4 cannons when you're not sure, verify with corsair and then cancel however many of them are still building, minerals are so tight in pro games and it delays your gateways but that's the cost of not knowing, you auto lose against hydra rush and it costs you 450 minerals and you can get back 225 if you cancel 2. It's much better than auto losing against a hydra bust which strong players always do against weaker ones for this exact reason, they won't defend if, it's like they freeze if they don't know whats going on, it's like they need to confirm whats going on before reacting because they're so afraid of playing wrong. If you place the first and second cannon closer to your Nexus then they'll defend against mutas so you're covered there as well. I hate seeing hydra busts and I used to think less of the zerg because it makes really bad matches to watch but it's equally on the toss.

Supplyblocking Zerg while almost "forcing" him into mutas after losing the corsairs opens a timing that works with just a little bit of luck. He probably thought straight up macro just won't cut it. Which is probably a good estimation regarding the skill difference.
I don't understand why Zergs don't use queens for the terminating templares. the same way as it works with tanks, queens can kill templares before they even can cast their first storms. And save queens for future.
not a bad idea but it is also related to the (current) metagame. The queen move works in TvZ but not always and it only happens in certain positions when the terran is meching... Protoss are much more mobile and dynamic than a meching terran and I think they might punish you for investing money and time in queens... Also, keep in mind queens need 150 energy compared to a HT's 75 to justify your investement, and that is taxing on APM as well, HTs are small, and kind of annoying to target... So without being a pro, this is my best guess as to why they don't come into use in PvZ.
Bishop is in both of movies, but he has much more screen time in Aliens... Aaaand Aliens is a much more beloved movie so I was really surprised he mentioned Alien 3 instead of it :D
Do the players have different screen dimensions? On the mini map we can see where they have their screens and I noticed that Bishop in the first and last game game just has a far longer indicator for their screen. Would be unfair, right?

It's player's choice. Remastered supports widescreen but some people prefer the old 4:3.
